It's a great product, in a wretchedly awful container with tragic shipping issues.

The lid doesn't fully seal, so if the bottle is squeezed really hard it will leak out a bit. Honestly, that's most liquid detergent bottles, though. Generally easily remedied by taping the lid.

Instead, it was shipped to me swaddled in three layers of bubble wrap. While this did miraculously prevent the soaking of my other goods, it also created a cocoon of liquid for the open bottle to float about in. You read that correctly; my bottle was open. The cap wasn't screwed on, merely set atop the bottle. So when I cut into this womb of liquid soap wrapping, it gushed forth and spilled nearly a quarter of the bottle upon me, and more began to pour out.

Quickly righting the freshly delivered baby to prevent further leakage, and rushing to the sink where I bemoaned the loss of my finances to an uncooperative child, I found it took a solid 10 minutes to wash the bottle down. The bubblewrap mother was not salvageable, and had to be let go.

While whisking the unwashed futures of my laundry down the sink, I noticed a bit of fragrance coming from the soap. The Unscented soap. Which leaves me wondering, has my soap been switched out for someone elses, and the cap left carelessly ajar? I certainly hope not, as my severe allergies will be quite aggravated if so.

The moral here? Separate and ship your loads carefully. ;)

TLDR; Good brand. Bad Jar. Lost part of product in shipping.

This is my favorite detergent with my skin. I can’t use anything with scents and I’ve never had a reaction to this one. I wash my kids clothes with it too and has always worked good! I do have to use additional stain remover sometimes if the stain is bad enough.
