Directions

Wash food containers before use. Lock lids together for easy storage by placing one lid on a flat surface and a second lid of the same shape on top. Gently press down on the button in the center of the top lid until you feel the two lids connect. Repeat this process to lock additional lids onto the stack.

I'm one of those people who washes and saves old containers to store leftovers. A habit I got from my Mother, but no more! These Glad containers could be considered disposable, but I have reused some of mine 8 or 9 times and will continue until they become damaged, seem worn out or the contents are too much of a "science experiment" to handle (just toss the whole thing sealed in the trash - no stink!). They are also dishwasher-safe.Sometimes my old-school recycled containers were not so good. Like when I need container for dinner guests take away leftovers without it seeming I'm some kind of container hoarder... and with a container that they may view as questionable.These store in less space than I expected. They nest very nicely: both lids and containers. Two of the 4 container sizes take the same size lid so there are only 3 sized of those. With somewhat limited space in my kitchen and pantry this is a plus.The 4 sizes of containers are pretty well thought out in this variety pack, though I'd prefer more of the taller medium sized ones instead of some of the very small ones. I do use all the sizes for different purposes. Living alone I'll often cook a double or triple portion of a favorite meal that warms up well and the bigger three sizes let me store 2+ portions or use the a few of the shorter container size for individual portions. Take one out of the fridge, pop the lid seal and microwave (not to an extreme!) to warm.These are BPA-free which I think is very good. BPA is at its worst when plastic gets heated and being BPA-free is a good thing in my opinion. In addition to being reusable they are recyclable which helps me feel a little more virtuous.I'm very pleased with these Glad containers. The variety pack is a pretty good mix, they are reusable, dishwasher-safe and a definite upgrade from my food container hoarding habit. I'm giving these 5 solid stars. Now I have a better way of storing my leftovers.

for my first time ever buying glad food containers i have to say that i am so happy i bought these glad containers! i really like them, they are made out of a decent material, they are not flimsy, and i like the design on them, they all arrived in great shape for a used product, i plan when i get some extra cash to order more of these---just in case some of you are curious No they are not microwave safe. but im very happy with them they are storing my food just fine! i cant wait till i can order more you wont be sorry you bought these, i really like them.

I bought these because my husband can never find a cover to go with any of our different brands of storage containers. This way the containers are all the SAME brand and he just has to look for size and color match.

I've used GladWare for years, it's sturdy and holds up. I wash the bowls in the dishwasher with no issues. I am sure the print will wear off from the detergent, but I'm okay with that.

I have found that washing the lids in the dishwasher makes them brittle and they crack and are unusable. So I handwash those.

I'll use the round ones but in the future only purchase sets that are rectangular. I have noticed that some of the lids don't fit real tightly and would leak if tipped. A great set of tupperware! The lids lock neatly into one another for easy stacking and to help avoid losses over time. The containers are durable and dishwasher safe (although I imagine they'll get brittle unless hand washed). The lids seal on tightly but are easy to remove. The whole bundle of containers fits neatly in the box it comes in, and I opt to store them all in that box to again help mitigate losses. You'll want to wash them first as they arrive tightly packed in a cardboard box with no plastic around them.

I will probably buy them again when enough lids go missing from this batch.
