I imagine this smock will be great for messy art projects down the road too, but we bought it for use at the table during mealtimes. We're doing baby led weaning with our 12 month old, and I was getting so tired of scrubbing food scraps off his body! This has great coverage, even covers his legs while sitting in the highchair. It's cinched at the wrists, and you can make the neckline as tight as you want with the velcro in the back. All that to say, we're loving it. It washes off easily in the sink, especially if you wash it immediately after mealtime. We've also run it through the washer with good results.

I loved it at the beginning, but now after a couple of washes it looks awful. It has a big green stain that won't come off and the fabric looks bad for some reason. On top of that my baby hates putting it on. He is a big baby and almost doesn't fit in it even though it is supposed to last until 24 months. It was an expensive bib so I feel I wasted my money. Other than that, it covers the neck nicely and seems to be like the Baby Bjön one but cheaper. I ended up buying a short sleeved Bumkin and it is the one I use all the time now.
