I ordered a smaller ring light that was “amazons choice” for half the price and it wasn’t very bright and then stopped working before I could even use it. I returned it and decided to order a bigger one and went with this light instead and I’m so glad I did. This light is so much brighter than the first one I bought. It’s actually significantly brighter than using two 1500 lumen work lights. It comes with an adjustable stand that’s well built, durable, and extends up to the ceiling. It also includes a mount for your phone or camera. This is extremely helpful because of how cluttered it becomes using both a tripod for the camera as well as a tripod for the light. It’s hard to get a good shot with both of them essentially needing to be in the same place. There’s also a Bluetooth shutter remote for your smartphone which feels cheaply made compared to the other accessories that are included, but works fine for now. The value of the light and stand is well worth the price and all the added accessories give you everything you need to start using the light right away. One thing I’ve added to the setup is using a digital av adapter connected from my iPhone to a monitor so I can see what I’m shooting while using the higher quality rear camera on my iphone, as opposed to the selfie camera. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quality ring light for a great value. I’d also highly suggest spending a little more money on this model and skipping the cheaper light. Having tried both, this one definitely worth the slightly higher price.

If you’re thinking about purchasing this ring light... just do it! I love this ring and it makes my pictures look 10x better which you can see the difference in the before and after picture.

I read ALOT of reviews before purchasing this. People were saying the stand wasnt sturdy, bluetooth remote doesnt work, that there wasnt much of a difference in the dimmer, that the phone mount doesnt turn vertical and horizontal. Just to clear all that up for people reading bad reviews, none of those things applied to me. The only thing i would say is that my iphone 7plus fits a bit snug on the phone mount with the case on. Other than that the dimmer has a low- med-high setting. there is a big difference. Stand is sturdy with my phone even. The remote works perfectly. And its bright and beautiful. The phone mount DOES turn vertical and horizontal. It doesnt come with a carrying bag tho?? So maybe i just didnt get one. but either way very happy with purchase !
