Remove splash guard for easier cleaning
I found it a pain to clean, so decided to give it a try. Gently push up on one side and it pops out. Do the other side as well. Now it's much easier to clean.Pros - DW loves it. It gets used, especially in colder weather.Cons- Noisy- It was used in the kitchen and bathroom only, since water splashed out. Don't try it on hardwood floor.- Not easy to clean (but now I figured it out)- Expensive ($50 during COVID but now is $35)

Don't get me wrong; I thought the price for this machine was a bit steep at first. However, this machine will transplant you to another realm. It is a little noisy (the only negative), but apart from that, it helps me relax immensely. Although I bought it for hygienic reasons to help with a toenail infection, I am very impressed with the quality. Last year, I had bought Sharper Image SMG1550 Foot Spa Massager with Bubbles, Vibrating Pedicure Spa, Foot Bath and got so frustrated because even after talking to the seller about the horrible quality (it makes much more noise and does not heat water like it says it does, and even trying to get it 'repaired,' I STILL had to add hot water to make the heat unit it "work."

Comparing this product to the other one is like night and day. This product feels like a godsend. It heats with minimal effort (I actually recommend you filling it with cold water at the beginning because if you don't, it will get TOO hot, unlike what the instructions say about getting a "head start." Also, it comes with these wonderful pads to put your feet. They are shaped like tiny spikes, but because they are of a soft material, they are really comfortable and help me exfoliate my skin. Seriously, after yersterday, my feet felt so soft like baby's feet. This was so much more better than Sharper images product with hard plastic ridges that made you want to take your foot out the moment you used it. I love this product and am using it with Purely Northests products for my fungal disorder.

In addition, I just feel oh so relaxed which is so great because I tend to have anxiety in the sense that I can't get my mind to take a hike and always feel like I need to do something. This machine helps me settle down at night when I still feel like "taking on the world." I also really need this because I suffer from an autoimmune disorder and am making a lot of changes after beginning Amy Myer's Autoimmune Solution, and being extremely type A is not going to help me at all whatsoever.

I am sure most of you are buying this for recreational purposes, but since it was for my health, I justified this great investment (which I would normally consider to be frivolous), but in any case, I highly recommend the product.

Literally my only complaint is the inability to add water additives (epsom salts or oils) but that is a small price to pay for the nice little jets and the motor that keeps the water nice and warm. The textured foot pads are also nice and clean well.

UPDATE 4/28/20:
My initial review still stands. Great foot spa for the price and it’s still working just the same. Still very happy with the purchase!

INITIAL REVIEW:
This product is great for the price. It does the basics a foot spa needs to. I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it.
The good things:
- The bubbling massage feels so good on the bottom of your feet. It’s so relaxing!
- It is very easy to clean. The foot pads come out so you can rinse under them and rinse them separately. It also has a handle to carry it when you want to pour out the used water
- It is easy to store as it is not too big and the cord is a decent length, though I would prefer longer since my place has limited outlet placements

My issues:
- The temperature is very iffy. Sometimes it takes a while for the water to warm and other times it takes off so fast your feet might burn. My suggestion is to always start off with cold water and keep an ice cube or two nearby to cool the water off if it gets too hot
- This is not made for big feet. I wear a size 11 women’s shoe and it is just the right size however my boyfriend is a size 14-15 men’s and he has to scrunch his toes to get his feet to fit in it. I didn’t think about that when I bought it but luckily my boyfriend doesn’t care, he just likes the water on his feet!

Overall I really can’t complain with the price being very reasonable. We’ve had it for a few months now and it still works great.

The seagrass in the bottom is my favorite. I walk barefoot a lot, so my feet need extra soaking time. I put a small piece of soap in with warm water. I scrub my feet in the seagrass and on the pumice stone. The jets are not very strong - not like a jacuzzi, but the bubbling is relaxing.

My feet are size 7.5-8 women, so I have plenty of space.

I have to turn the tub off occasionally to let the water cool. The tub is pretty quiet. I've had no issues conversing or watching TV.

There's a spout in front, so it's easy to pour out when I'm done.

So this is the second foot spa I have ordered from Amazon and I'm about to give up on the whole idea. The first one hurt my feet (massage balls on bottom) so it wasn't the relaxing foot massage experience I was looking for (more like torture experience). I ordered this one thinking the soft bubbles and grass type texture was more my style.... started it up and it was a very loud, high pitched sound with only a couple bubbles in a few spots on one side...turned off and started again, then I had a few bubbles on the other side. WTH. Left it running, thinking it needed a few minutes to warm up. Nope. I never got more than a few bubbles at a time and I could barely feel this. Ok.. then the water started getting VERY hot! So the heater works, a little too well, had to keep turning it off to keep from burning my feet. So I sat there just soaking a bit. When I got up I noticed the towel, I had set underneath was wet. WTH again. The bubbles weren't strong enough to spill over, no, this thing was leaking...into my carpet. I jumped up and grabbed the handle to carry it to the bathroom and when I lifted, the whole side tipped spilling more water!! 😡 I rarely write nasty reviews but this "foot spa" was awful and definitely not worth the $60 I paid. I am actually a pretty easy person to please but it will be returned and I am gonna stick with a long soak in the tub to ease the tired feet.

satisfying bubbles and the modular grass pads are nice. It can heat the water fairly quick but don't expect a sauna. there's enough space for my large feets but it's very easy to spill due to the water spout that is lower than the rest of the rim so be careful moving your feet around. needs to be deeper by an inch or two.

I had a foot bath for years, and it finally gave out. I really missed it, so finally ordered this one because it had removable sea grass inserts( I hate the bumpy nodules on all of the foot baths), and it said it keeps the water hot. Thank goodness I put an old plastic tablecloth on my carpet first. I put a towel under the foot bath too make sure I didn’t drip on the rug when I took my feet out. First, there was no indication of a fill line- I had to assume the slight indentation on the walls were the maximum ( very shallow). There is a hole at the front to empty the bin, but that means you have to be extra careful carrying it with water, and putting your feet in, so water doesn’t slosh out. Plus, I think that’s where some condensation when the unit is running drips out. I wear ladies 9.5 shoes- this unit was almost too short to be comfortable- not much extra length . The water did get hot, but I had to turn it off to cool down- no option to just turn off heat. Also, the instructions say you can’t add anything to the water- I loved using Epsom salts, various foot soaks, soothing foot care products, in my former ( less costly) foot bath. The main reason I’m returning it immediately is because it SOAKED the towel underneath! In the picture, you can see the big round dark circle- that’s a totally wet ( wringable wet!) towel! I hung it up overnight and it’s still not dry this morning. I don’t know where it’s leaking, but I’m not waiting to find out.
