    Update after 2 weeks. It still works just fine BUT this takes 8 AA batteries and they only last MAYBE 4 hours. Every 3 days we’re replacing them and that gets expensive very fast. This $30 toy suddenly because $50 in just 2 weeks.

    Watch out if you’re buying as a gift!! This did not come inside any box besides the product box. Most Amazon orders come in an Amazon box but this does not so if you have package stealers keep that in mind. It was left on my porch in the rain and the box was destroyed so I ended up gifting it without any original packaging.

     It was great the first time we used it but when we tried to use it again the number of bubbles drastically dropped (video). The batteries were new and we even discarded the solution and poured it again....same results...my kids were so excited but its such a disappointment!

    Updated: I received a replacement quickly and I tried the new one and I had the same problem.
    Both of them had a new set of batteries and nothing worked so I switched to Duracell and wow the difference. The batteries were weak even though they were new...who would have thought..
    Long story short, the machine works great with lots of bubbles..... highly recommend... 5 stars...

    This was fun to have at my grandson's 2nd birthday party. The kids enjoyed chasing after the mostly steady stream of bubbles.

    The box didn't come with instructions though most of the operation was intuitive. It did take us a few tries to get enough but not too much bubble solution in the small reservoir. If the machine had been running and we wanted to add bubbles, it was very easy to put in too much. When this happened, the bubbles would stick to each other and not detatch and float away.

    But overall it was fun and the kids enjoyed the heck out of it.

    I really like this bubble machine. It makes so many bubbles in varying sizes. The bubble liquid that came with it had iridescent qualities. After I bought one and tested it I ordered a second one. We are going to use two for my daughter's going away after wedding, instead of rice or birdseed. Guests are going to ring bells. I looked at many bubble machines. i was really concerned about how noisy they were. But I find the noise level of the KIDZLANE machine to be acceptable. I think this will last more than one season if we take care of it and clean it and remove batteries for storage. I will say that if you rinse the reservoir out with water that you should remove batteries first. The bubble liquid doesn't get in the batteries, but if you are rinsing it off with water to clean it out, the batteries do get wet.

    I've gotten three uses out of this product before it broke. It is badly engineered, whether by incompetence or design I don't know. In short, save your money and find something better designed.

    The problem is simply that there is almost no protection from liquids inside the toy. That means that should you splash any of the bubble mix it is running down into the motor (inadequately shielded) and the batteries which have no protection at all. What little shielding is around the motor only serves to hold the liquid in and not let it dry out. Since bubble solution contains glycerine or some other additive to make the bubbles last longer, it does not dry out by measures such as using rice or salt to absorb the water. In short, you end up with a gunked up motor and corroding connectors. The way this toy is designed it is inevitable
    that some of the bubble solution will splash into it and cause it to stop working. Save your money and look elsewhere.

    I used this for a “trunk or treat” Under the sea themed booth at a fall festival. It was a hit with kids of all ages. I ran it for 3 hours straight without any problems or slowing down. I used a homemade bubble solution, and brought 3 gallons, but only filled the machine 2 or three times total (less than a half gallon). The recipe I used worked great, made zillions of quality bubbles, and can also be used to make giant bubbles or even hand-formed bubbles. It is adapted from many online sources, search for the originals. I lined a bucket with a clean bag (because kids pop bubbles with their mouth, y’all!). Poured in a whole 16 oz bottle of Dawn platinum dish detergent liquid. Added 1.5 tablespoons xanthan gum and stirred together until mixed Added 2 gallons room temp water and stirred. Added 1.5 tablespoons baking powder and stirred. Noticed it was a little clumpy, so I made the last gallon of water hot before adding it in. That helped the baking powder dissolve in. I used the solution about 3 hours after making it. Reviews online say it gets even better the next day, but I don’t know how it could be any better than it was! Note- some online “bubble experts” state that only guar gum works, but I went to 3 stores and couldn’t find any where I live, so I used Xanthan gum (which is available in all grocery stores near me). It was still great, and this machine did well with this recipe. It also cleaned up easily, just rinsed the chamber until the bubbles were gone and took the batteries out. A wipe down of the outside was all it needed. It didn’t get soapy or nasty at all.

    This is great for children or for a party. It is really nice, with bubbles of different sizes. It really works. The only thing is that you need a really small screw to put batteries in, so the compartment is not so accesible. On the other side this is normal because you probably do not want any water going in.
