This unit looks and performs, just as described.

I previously had one of those suitcase style organizers, with divided spaces on both sides.

However, the removable dividers were very loose and sloppy, so every time you flipped to the other side, much of the contents spilled out into other compartments, defeating the purpose of the unit, entirely.

This one is a little more expensive, but has a lot more room, and the contents stay put, since the unit is fixed, rather than portable.

I really like it, perfect for an OCD organization guy, like myself, as I now know exactly where to go when I need something.

This thing is awesome. I really am bummed that the old school metal type cabinets aren't more readily available but I guess they were a casualty of progress and innovation and a nation's thirst of cheap stuff. All in all, I really do like it. I do agree that the cabinet housing seems a little flimsy, and the individual drawers seem flimsy, and yes-- if you load it heavy AND DONT SECURE IT-- I could see how it could tip over. Now, I have almost every drawer with something in it, I snapped off the drawer dividers molded into the back of the cabinet and I secured the cabinet to the wall LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO.. and I have no issues. I have no issues with tip overs, no issues with sagging, no issues at all-- the only issue I have is that I have more stuff than fits in this one cabinet so as soon as I get my crap together I'll be buying another one of these.. maybe even two more.

Read all the three star reviews before buying. And again. This is me not reading the reviews in the middle. I know why the reviewers listed their reviews as three stars. Reading them you would think they would put them at one star. But here on Amazon, 1 star reviews just disappear. So it has now become a need to make 1 star reviews 3 stars just to keep the reviews active. Read those. I wish I had. They are very well written, detailed and list the pros and cons. They also have excellent ideas on how to fix the issues. These bins are seriously overpriced. Only come with 4 large dividers and 8 small dividers for a unit that holds 44 bins. Remember when we used to get with these bins enough dividers for 1-1/2 the amount of drawers in the unit? And get the screws and mollys to mount the unit to the wall?
Now to get enough dividers for just one per for each bin you have to spend another $47.00 (with tax) for two packs of large dividers 40616 for $10.00 and change and two packs of small dividers 40617 for $11.00 and change; making this a 'complete' unit ($50.00 with tax base cost for each) a total cost with tax $100.00. And you have all the other problems the 3 star reviewers spell out quite nicely. Just buy the harbor friegth bins.
I did an out of box review for the black units that arrived the day before these red units. A few of those bins lost their shape in the garage in just 75 degree heat. Nothing was in them. They were just sitting there waiting for these to arrive. I bought four of these. Silly me.
The fix for the bins in the black unit that started to turn into silly putty, I found by reading one of the three star reviews. Heating them a bit in hot water seemed to bring back the shape. I thought that was kinda like the thought that things may return to their natural shape if convinced to to so soon after....gave me a chuckle. "Muscle memory" for plastic. But it did work well enough.
I have this type of bin I bought a few years ago and believed them to be too expensive then. Causing me to hesitate to buy more. But the code of TELE20JUNE that was on the ad tempted me to buy quickly. But the code on the ad that had the click box to apply the code to the order. Didn't. Not on one thing. And everything on all my orders had this code in the box and it said the code was in my cart. But no discount applied. The code was no longer on any of the ads when I the items arrived and when I did find it said product had to be sold by amazon not shipped by amazon. Live and learn. The existing bins are all full and by full I mean full. So there isn't any room for the bins to warp in the heat.
I am really confused at the performance difference.
All in All These bins will serve the purpose if you mount them on the wall, but there are far less expensive options (Harbor Frieght). Other reviews say they weren't happy using them as free standing units. I am not qualified to address this issue as I have not used them this way before. Best to read all the 3 star reviewers before you buy.

I have a ticktok type "have you noticed question". Over the past 4/5 years nearly everything, from just about every store I make an online purchase is arriving in boxes that are double or triple the size that is needed to ship. These bins did actually come in a box that fit rather well. But another box that held mini sterilite containers that fit in the palm of your hand and a shelf to hold the drill and charger came in a box that was even bigger than the box that held two of these units, quite possible could have held all four of these units, for that little bit of product....and no bubble wrap to fill all the vacant space. Why is that? The added cost for shipping alone, even if shipped by amazon, defies all reason. It's a quandry.

Very very low quality product. the one look the same I bought from Lazada and made in china is way better! don't ever buy this cheap product from amazon! extremely disappointed!

Es de plástico no se siente tan resistente pero si funciona para guardar cosas no tan grandes, yo la tengo en un almacén de material eléctrico y guardamos fusibles. Bastante funcional
