Had a hard time finding freezer safe, flat, reusable zip-lock bags. These tick the boxes.
I like that they're somethat stiff-- I use freezer bags to freeze stocks, sauces, & soups, and if you've ever done that, you know that if they're not perfectly flat when you put them in the freezer, they can freeze with wrinkles and are sort of a mess. The sturdy walls of this bag prevent that.
The zip on it is not the easiest. It needs to be perfectly lined up, and it doesn't *feel* very secure. However, I haven't had one leak yet, at least once it was fully zipped, so the reality is better than the feel.
The exterior of the bag has a matte finish, which is good for me because I use washi or masking-type tape to lable the contents, and it adheres better than on a smooth surface.
I've only handwashed these. They will pick up smells. Usually, I can get rid of the smell by filling it with diluted vinegar after I washed it (about 3 parts water-1 part vinegar), letting it sit for a while, then rinsing & air drying it. They're not particularly hard to handwash, using a washcloth rather than a sponge to clean along the interior seams.
Overall, I'm happy with them. They are a little expensive, considering I'd reallly like to have about 30 of them because at any point, I have at least 15 bags in my freezer. So, my one recommendation would be to offer a discount for more than one or two packages.

Perfect Sandwich Bag Replacement!
I always try to find ways to reduce my level of waste, whether it be reusable grocery bags, produces bags, or metal straws. These are the perfect way to cut back on ziploc baggies! Even though I typically waste and reuse those too, these are much more durable and will definitely last longer than the ones meant for one-time use. They are sturdy, easy to seal (another difference from your average baggies), and easy to wash! I just rinse them out and wipe them with a sponge and then set them out to dry! The colors are cute too because I can match my snacks with them! Carrot sticks? Those go in the orange one! Tomatoes? Red one! Definitely would recommend these to a friend.
