This book.... it's amazing, well written, and has a beautiful story! I fell in love with Evan almost immediately and only wanted the best for him.

When we meet Evan, his life is about to change, he finds out he is going to be a father, and a single father at that. As ecstatic as he is about it, he's nervous and has no clue what he's going to do, but he knows he needs his child in his life. When his best friend, Aaron's, sister moves back home after graduating college and offers to help him, he never expected to fall for her.

Kinley has had a crush on Evan for as long as she can remember, and seeing him after all this time makes her heart flutter even more. She offers to help, and the two of them grow closer in prepping for Evans baby to arrive. Both of them start to feel things for one another, but for the longest time don't act on it. I loved the sweet things inside of Evan's head when he would see Kinley and but hated how he would beat himself up over how he was feeling because of Aaron.

Watching these two dance around one another, and not acknowledge the chemistry between them was frustrating at times, but sweet at other times. Kinley wanted Evan in any way she could have him, and she never thought he would feel the same way about her. When things quickly heat up between them, and Kinley comes to Evan's rescue I was like YES they are finally going to figure things out, but it didn't go exactly as planned.

Kinley and Evan are perfect for one another. I loved Evan for how protective he was of his baby and how much he loved her without even meeting her yet, but I fell even harder seeing him with Kinley. Kinley falls in love with Lexi and will do anything to protect Evan's baby. You can see how much she adores her, and how much love she has for this tiny human being.

Not only is this a beautiful love story, but it's also an amazing story of friendship, and growing up. It was obvious to everyone around these two that they loved one another, but neither one of them dared say anything to each other for fear of their heart breaking. When things finally came to blows and the truth of their feelings came out, I was crying happy tears.

Kinley and Evan's story is amazing and I didn't want it to end. I must say the way that Kaylee wrote this book I was extremely happy with how things ended for these two, as much as I didn't want to say goodbye to these characters, my heart was happy with how the story ended. I love, love, loved Southern Pleasure and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friends to lovers romance with a few twists thrown in. I hope one day we will get Aaron's story, as this man definitely needs some love in his life!

I can reread this (and others) so many times and still love it each time! Evan is AMAZING! How many men find out their girlfriend/friend with benefit is pregnant and he drops everything and does everything to make sure that his baby is taken care of! He is so worried about everything that it is so sweet! Then Kinley is like a chick that I aspire to be, a strong independent woman who just gives her love without expecting anything in return. I love how their love story builds - they have known each other their whole life but being put into this situation it brings about a new viewpoint for both of them. I just love their dynamic together and let me just say was when the baby was about to be born and Evan was so so worried about Kinley and Kinley was so worried about Evan I thought it was just beautiful and perfect. I literally cannot but into words just how much I love this book, this relationship and the people in this story. I love that the characters aren’t perfect but vulnerable and down to earth and people that I would love to have in my life. *Please God send an Evan to me* Another great thing is that I would recommend this story to anyone and everyone.

When Evan gets told by his fling that she is pregnant and she doesn't want it, he has to find away to get his baby. McKinley getting her photography studio up running offers her help along with her brother Aaron. As the story unfolds and the make a marriage arrangement, will they keep up just being friends or are they more? Will the both be able to admit what they feel or will they lose it all? Evan Chamberlin is a young man who could have taken the easy way out, but instead, does what's right. He chooses the hard road and chooses life for his unborn child. There aren't many books I read where the male is a true picture of what a southern gentleman. He's genuine, caring, hardworking, and takes responsibility for his actions. In fact, there has only been one other character that is on this level- Cash Montgomery from the Full Circle Series. I have to say that Evan is sitting at the top of my list of favorite.

McKinley is the little sister of Evan's best friend and honestly one of his best friends too. She doesn't blink an eye when Evan needs help preparing for his new arrival, but what neither of them plan is for a curveball that forces them to deny what they both feel.

Lately I haven't been giving any good reviews. It got to the point where I thought is it me. After reading this, I now know it wasn't.

WOW, WOW, WOW.

The moment I downloaded and read the first few pages I was captured. This is an author who pulls you in straight away with her style of writing and fabulous flow of words.
All the characters were written in such a way, they came alive as real people. Each one has a different personality yet even though one wasn't so nice over time you ended up understanding why and gave her empathy, but to start with you hated her lol.
The connection between the two main character was unbelievable, the spark could be felt, the attraction, the love and respect. It even had a good few plots and twists and turns. I loved how each character blended so well together.
I fell hook, line and sinker for him. I want a man like him lol

Great value for money. I enjoyed it so much I read this in one session and couldn't put it down. Never heard of this author, but after stumbling over this novel I will be looking at her others.
