We were looking for a laundry bag that we could hang behind a door and throw towels into. This looked like a very nice bag, the price was reasonable, and the fact that it came with the over-the-door hooks already made it an easy decision to purchase over other similar products. Firs, the bag itself is really nice! The material is good, and it's breathable, so if you have to put damp stuff in it, I don't see it being a problem. I believe it's also washable, so that's a plus. I love the way it looks, and fits behind a door no problem. Easy to put laundry in, and the zipper at the bottom makes it easy to just zip open, and if you put a basket right underneath it, everything will fall right out of the bag, and into your laundry basket. Good thinking on the designer's part to add this, in my opinion. Honestly, I only have one complaint...the over-the-door hooks. They are made for a pretty thin metal and bend fairly easily. Like others have point out, they don't sit flush to the top of the door, so because they raise up a bit, we found that we couldn't close the door because the hooks would get in the way. There are ways, I'm sure, to doctor up these hooks, and make them work. We had other over-the-door hooks on hand that were better, and just ended up using those instead, which luckily worked perfectly. Even with that flaw though, I'm still giving this bag five stars, and would recommend it.

This item came quickly and was just as it was described online. Packaging was perfect - not too ridiculously packaged in a huge box nor under-packaged to risk damage. We were looking for something to hold dirty laundry in our tiny bathroom in our tiny house. The material isn't what I expected (a little thinner than I thought it would be), but so far it's working great nevertheless. The seams are well stitched, and the item hangs perfectly. Even as the basket fills up, the opening is still easy to put clothes in. In about a week, our family of four (two adults and two small children) filled it to the top. We ended up hanging this on the bottom of an already-existing behind-the-door towel rack, and it still works perfectly. This way, it's actually the perfect height for our 5 year-old and 1.5 year-old to reach, so they can easily put their own clothes in it. The bottom zipper is a great feature. Even though I could easily remove the basket from its hooks and dump it into a hamper, the zipper saves me the time. It's also easy to take off the hooks if you want to simply take the whole hanging basket with you to the washing machine. I love that it's opaque, too, so that it doesn't show its contents. So far, we love it, and I will likely buy a few more for more rooms in our house to save on floor space. I will be interested to see how the fabric holds up over time, especially with the impending arrival of a third child in the mix.

Since I moved to a much smaller apartment, I didn't have the space for my normal hamper (which was a free standing design). I scourged the Internet for ways to save space and came upon this great item. The product is exactly as it looks in the picture -- the bag is the same color and the fabric is of high quality. When I transferred the items from my old hamper to this new one, it was around ~15lbs of laundry and the bag and hook held up just fine.

The hooks seem a bit shoddy at first, but so far I've had no issues with them. As mentioned before, I put quite some pressure on them and they held up just fine! In fact, I left my laundry in there for around 2 weeks with no issues. The only thing I would mention is that the product design is very simple and these are just two free standing hooks -- if you plan on removing the bag a lot or messing around with the laundry bag quite a bit, it may be helpful to add some adhesive to the back of these hooks so they 100% stay in place. However, the metal is quite flexible so I was able to successfully bend these two hooks to perfectly fit my door and stay put. Another great thing is that since they're so thin, they fit in my tiny door and don't show too much, which is great.

Nice, practical item with ine exception

Like others have mentioned, the door hooks are flimsy and will bend with weight, making it impossible to fill the bag with anything other than infant/toddler clothes. Thus, I subtracted one star.

However the bag itself is nice looking and gets the job done in my ridiculously tiny bathroom. I only replaced the hooks with longer sturdier ones.

I don't see the bag holding too many items at once. Maybe enough for 3-4 days of spring/fall weather clothing for one person. I'm a slender female, and I typically wear my jeans more than once and replace my bath towel every 3 days. So I can pack mine with about 3 t-shirts, bras, underwears, sets of socks, and only 1 jeans or sweat pants before the bag cannot hold anymore. Keep in mind, the bag will fill quickly if you were to add fluffy towels, sweaters, hoodies, and heavier and baggy jeans into the equation. Also, if there is more than one person using the bag.

Just a tip: I do own a hamper that I keep in my laundry room on the other side of my home. Every few days, I place the hamper under the bag and unzip it so that all my dirty clothes fall into the hamper. I find it less of a hassle than walking my dirty clothes to the laundry room every day. And when the bag is dirty, you can just throw it in the wash with your clothes.

*Parents should note that this bag hangs too high for small children to reach the opening. You'll have to find much longer hooks. Maybe some sturdy wreath hangers would work.

All in all, I would recommend this product. Hopefully the manufacturer will eventually fix the quality of the hooks.

Speaking of the mount you can use the over the door ones pictured, or it comes with what are basically little command hooks so you can mount it wherever. Personally I don’t find this to be too bulky behind the door at all. I’m going to be picking up more of these for the rest of the family!

It had a zip along the back which makes it easier to take the clothes out again instead of having to pull them out of the hole at the top.
