No offensive scent!

I tried this litter because my daughter was adamant that I stop using the previous litter. This litter has no odor and seems to do a pretty good job. Having been almost totally satisfied with another clumping cat litter, Boxie cat had to be good to satisfy me and my daughter. It does clump, not as firm as the other, but still clumps.. It has no odor to annoy my daughter. It does track but not too much. A rug under the litter box keeps tracking manageable. It has a coarse texture that does not adhere to the cat’s paws like a product with a finer texture. I give it a “B” rating.

The great and the terrible

I have two cats, with one regular and one automated litter box. I've been trying litters looking for one that won't stick to the sides of the box where the cat pees over and over in the same place.
The great: This litter was so much better at not sticking and causing a mushy, gluey mess stuck to the box. Clumps hard and fast. Keeps box much cleaner. No odors. Cleans up well.
The terrible: Stuck to one of my cats paws like cement. Dirty little Litter balls all over the floor and the furniture. Had to soak the cats paws in water in the sink (not fun for either of us!) to get it off. Horrible experience outside the litter box. Interestingly, no problem with the other cat...maybe she avoids it better when wet.
Bottom line. If your cat doesn't step in the damp litter, might be great for you. But I can't use it.

The best cat litter, if you can afford it

I’ve been using coconut litter for about five years and I don’t know if they’ve change the manufacturing or what but it became really dusty and so I thought I would try clay litter
For three weeks I’ve been using Boxiecat and another leading and popular clay litter
Both were way better than the coconut even though they’re a lot heavier there just is no dust no tracking, and no odor relative to the coconut
Boxiecat came out on top, mainly because at 3 inches the clumps stay 1 to 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the pan. This means I don’t have to clean the pan as frequently and maybe not at all I’ll see it’s only been three weeks. I’m gonna just top it off and see how it goes and keep it at 3 inches per the instructions.
Another feature, although not as critical, was how lightweight it is. For pushing the scoop through the litter it was very easy to do and also since the clumps don’t stick to the bottom which made it easy too.
it seems very expensive but when I thought about how much coconut litter I was going through it’s almost going to be the same price. If not, maybe even a little cheaper because I don’t think I’m gonna have to change it out completely every two weeks as I did the coconut.
I’ve used clumping litter in the past and went to corn and that was a disaster leaving little foot prints on my black cotton covered couch, so I tried coconut and I thought it was a lot better and I dealt with the small amount of tracking being dark brown. It kind of blended in but one day when I realized how dusty it was, I decided to revisit clumping clay litter. I thought it’s been a while and maybe they’ve improved over the years and I think they have with Boxiecat. I am amazed at how low the dust is how low the tracking is no odor and I like the idea of the probiotics assisting with everything I understand how useful probiotics are and I’ve had great success with them in other situation’s
So it’s Boxiecat for me for now. I hope this review is helpful.

This is the best cat litter in terms of clumping and absorbency, as well as odour fighting. So easy to clean and it absolutely keeps the box so much cleaner than any other litter I've used. The handle is very convenient. However, it is everywhere! One of my cats likes to shoot out of the box so I was expecting a bit of tracking, but it is stuck in my other cat's fur and paws, and I've also found a few clay paw prints around the litter box area. The best litter I've found

This litter is amazing. Basically no dust, just a light clean clay smell not a perfume smell like other brands. I have 2 cats and scoop daily, and can't smell the litter box at all. I've found with other litter that my cats smell like it and with this you can only smell it on them if they've literally just come from the box and you put your nose right on them, and again it's a clay smell not a perfume or dirty litter smell.

It really does stay cleaner than other brands too - the clumps are very contained and dry all the way through so even if you break one up by accident it breaks into smaller hard clumps rather than just a scatter of dirty litter. It really feels like you can scoop ALL the dirty parts and the litter is clean when you're done.

As for tracking, it does about as well as other good non-lightweight brands. If your cat is a digger like mine they'll get it on the floor, but you probably have a litter mat to help with that anyway. It dries quickly so at least it doesn't glue to your floor or the litter mat.

Overall the best litter I've tried for sure. Will update if I get any poor quality batches like some people have reported, but those reviews are old so I hope that the company has solved the issue by now.
