I bought 6 of these on a lighting deal in DEC 2018 and I'm back in 2022 to buy replacements. These have lasted and held up very well for several years unfortunately the puppy chewed a few of them up. Apparently they are great fun for the dog however with only one old ratty looking dryer ball left, I noticed my towels aren't as soft and they taking longer to dry. I wash the same load of towels every week it takes about 20 minutes longer on the Auto setting to dry without the dryer balls. Even in my 2 year old HE Whirlpool dryer they actually do help. All my towels and sheets are cotton so they don't make alot of static but we use them with regular cloths all the time and they do help with the static. I've never used any scented oils on them so I'm unsure how they would hold up to that. I like that the are not synthetic and not made in China. I looked at the USA made one's but these are quality at a better price and I know they will last until the dog gets them.

I'd been using scent free dryer sheets & wanted to see if dryer balls would offer same thing without having used dryer sheets to dispose of & having to repurchase. The sheep faces are adorable & the little guys work really well. My concern was static cling if I didn't use dryer sheets but this has NOT been a problem! I've washed clothes, sheets, towels, winter bedspreads & most items dry in 30 -40 minutes which is about the same as with the dryer sheets. Wrinkle factor is also the same. The only issue is that the little guys try to escape - they love to hide in the pockets of fitted sheets & one hid in a pants leg & rolled out & dashed across the floor. I've now gotten used to checking for them when I remove things from the dryer. And, unlike a dryer sheet, they do thump around a bit in the dryer but I've grown used to that also. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

I’ve heard a lot about these Dryer Balls so I finally tried them. They do help clothes dry a little faster. They also helped make towels quite a bit softer. I was concerned they might make a lot of noise while in the dryer but I was happy to find out they don’t make a sound. Although they do help keep cat hair and fuzz from sticking to dark clothes, I prefer Bounce Dryer Sheets for pet hair to help with static cling.

I’ve had a family member use these for quite some time, but after reading how dryers sheets aren’t good for your clothes and dryer I thought I’d try them. So far so good. No noticeable static (the reason I use dryer sheets in the first place) and seems to assist in evenly drying and I pack it pretty tight.

I do have an older style dryer so they do make a little more noise in the drum but not distractingly so.
