    I bought this to use as a diaper bin and it's been a true blessing. Even with it filled to capacity we only smell the nastiness for the brief moment the lid is open. Otherwise you'd never know the horrors that awaited inside lol! It's been running strong on the same batteries since I bought it. Bags are easy to replace and the removable bag ring is fantastic. With the top back on the bag is secure and completely concealed. I'm not sure how much the charcoal filter helps, but my main concern was odor when the can is closed, and for that purpose it works perfectly! As an added bonus the unit looks fantastic!Update: I've been using this daily for six months or so and it is a workhorse! Still running on the same batteries I purchased when I received it and blocking diaper odor just as effectively!Update: So, after working perfectly since last November, a couple weeks ago the lid decided to give up on me suddenly and completely! I figured the batteries had finally died, so I swapped in a fresh set and nothing happened. No light, no movement, nothing at all. I almost decided to just write it off, but figured I might as well try customer care. I sent them an email with a screen shot of my original order and description of the problem. To my pleasant surprise I got an email back within 24 hours with an incident number and instructions to call in for service. I called in thinking they were going to want me to send in the lid, but they surprised me by saying their policy had changed and I just had to pay a $9.95 service/shipping and handling fee and a new lid would be sent out. They didn't want the old one back at all. Since it would cost more than that to just ship the original lid in to them I had no issue paying the fee. About a week later I received my brand new lid! I really can'take say enough about the quality customer service I received from itouchless.     I bought this all the way back in 2018, y'all. It's now 2024 as I write this review. I have had this trashcan for literally 6 years! IT STILL WORKS! I'm starting to think this trashcan will last a lifetime at this point.

    My grandma was envious of this touchless trashcan, so she bought a cheaper brand. Let me tell you, everyone in the house has complained about that trashcan. It didn't work consistently when you would wave your hand over it. But this brand works EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail and has for six years! It's great at detecting motion and will always open. It stays open and doesn't try to shut on your hand either. Great, reliable, and consistent brand.

    It keeps the odors in the trashcan and not smelling up the whole house. It's easy to tuck the trashbag in so the trashbag doesn't look tacky sticking out around the rim. Sometimes I have a difficult time taking the trashbag out due to the slim size of the trashcan though.

    I'm now starting to need a bigger trashcan, so I'm probably going to upgrade soon. But this trashcan works, and I kind of feel sad that I might leave it behind. Would definitely buy from this brand again with how reliable and long-lasting this trashcan has been!

    This is an exceptionally good product. It’s basically square, so it’s easy to fit in any corner, and its stainless steel appearance is extremely sleek and easy to clean. It has a collar for the 13 gallon kitchen trash bags, and I’ve never had to chase a lost bag inside the can. Once it’s full, you can compact it once or twice to keep putting more trash in.. just don’t over do it. If you do, you’ll quickly find yourself warring with the vacuum of space trying to keep you from getting that bag out.. and failing miserably because the bag rips. So yeah.. It’s very easy to use, you just put four D batteries in and wave your hand over the IR sensor. You don’t have to touch it, and it stays pretty clean; however, it doesn’t take much to shine it back up. Speaking of those 4 D batteries, they lasted 19 months.     The bin sensor is very good - it just works every time - closes very fast - seems to be less odor than usual.

    Una de las mejores compras que he hecho en Amazon. Lo compre no por el sistema touchless sino porque fue el único que encajaba por el tamaño, necesitaba uno alto y estrecho. Y la verdad es que estamos encantadísimos, es super comodo y limpio, esteticamente tambien está muy bien, lo compramos hace 4-5 meses y de momento no falla. Las pilas aún no las hemos tenido que cambiar. Eso si, en principio nos equivocamos y compramos las que no eran, así que mirad bien que pilas hacen falta.
