These are a little hard to use because it seems like because they are so big, it is hard to get the solution not to pop when you pick up the wand. However, if you are trying to make big bubbles, I think that is the nature of the beast. My niece and nephew really loved playing with these and trying to make big bubbles and playing around. The pan you get doesn't hold much but we just put it in a big bowl and that worked fine as well. Overall, fun outdoor activity for kids!

My children have great fun with these bubble wands! It's nice that it came with more than one wand option. The tray holds enough bubble solution to successfully blow bubbles but not so much that if it gets tipped you've blown through all the solution you have. I would recommend an additive to your bubble solution to make "strong" bubbles. The wands have provided hours of fun ALREADY, and we've only had them a week.

The bubble solution is a bit messy to mix up. I’d advise mixing it in a large bucket that is then used for dipping the wands to make the bubbles. Be careful to stir the the solution slowly when mixing so as to avoid making a froth on the surface. It makes wonderful, big bubbles especially when the solution in the bucket is reasonably free of the small frothy bubbles which develop as the wands are dipped into it.

This was only $5 when I bought it so it was definitely worth it. My daughter(4yo) and neighbors granddaughter (2yo) both love this bubble wand kit. The 2 big wands make up for the tiny 6 wands that just fall into the tray and are forgotten about. The pour spout doesn’t really work when pouring the leftover bubble solution back into the bubble jar but we learned to play until there is no solution left.
