    These seem like good quality mounts but didn't work with my Klipsch surround sound speakers. I thought they were universal when I purchased so that's my mistake. The only issue was the screws supplied. They weren't long enough to attach to the speaker. So my error is your benefit, they aren't compatible with Klipsch.

    first off, i did not use the supplied wall anchors. i used a couple of 75lbs rated anchors - yes, i understand this is completely overkill. very easy to install. i mounted my rear speakers which were right at the weight limit and i noticed that after tightening the mount, and letting go of the speaker, the unit would sag a bit, but other than that, they've held up just fine. the range of motion is perfectly fine, and as long as my kids don't actually step up onto the speakers, i can foresee them staying put forever to be honest. what i also like about them is they're small and discreet unlike some gigantic mounts

    There is no way these can carry 7.7 lbs for a prolonged period if time. I loaded them with much less - 5 lbs and they banded. I would not risk hanging 5 lbs high on a wall on these.

    Ya las había comprado antes para unas pequeñas bocinas surround de un home theater Sony E4100. Investigue mucho para saber si este tipo de bases se pueden usar en el techo y además con bocinas Polk OWM3, que son considerablemente más grandes que estás bases, aunque se encuentran dentro del rango del peso que aguanta la base (2kg). Puedo decir que si funcionan, solo que tuve que comprar taquetes metálicos y ampliar ligeramente el tamaño de los agujeros de la placa metálica donde se sujeta a la pared (con el mismo taladro), para poder usar esos taquetes más resistentes y estar tranquilo que no se caerán. Creo que con los taquetes de plástico incluidos si debería resistir las Polk OWM3 en pared, pero como yo las estaba usando para techo, decidí no arriesgarme. Diría que son fáciles de instalar y la base te permite ajustar el ángulo hacia la posición de escucha, solo que por el peso y al estar en el techo, se vence un poco cuando recién lo ajustas pero luego si se queda fijo. Espero esto le sea útil a alguien, ya que tuve que investigar mucho y nunca di con esta información sobre si se podían usar en el techo y con este modelo de bocinas, decidí arriesgarme y por suerte funciona muy bien.
