The screen shield is thin plastic. I don't get much water on it, just splashes and sprinkles. The mount was not that strong and I didn't want to risk it. So I don't soak it ever, but it does work. If the plastic on the screen cover ever punctured it would no longer work. The case itself is fairly sturdy. Overall, it does work and I am thankful for that.

I bought this as an anti fog shower holder so I could still use my phone for various things in the shower like music, video chats (don't judge :p ), etc.

Sadly the anti fog part doesn't work fully as intended but I still love and recommend this. The gasket on this keeps my phone safe from water and the pivot lets me turn my phone to whatever angle or position I need for the activity. I've been loving it and I'm buying a few as gifts in the future.

Water Resistant NOT Waterproof

It says in the description you will have to use your phone without it's case, so the reviewers who are complaining about that, didn't read the description thoroughly.

It is water resistant. I use it in the shower every day, works flawlessly. Never opened by itself, never any moisture inside, touchscreen works great, adhesive is super strong, great in the shower.

Soooooo, the negative... It is NOT waterproof. I dropped my phone while in this case, locked, in the pool yesterday and immediately retrieved it. Opened the case, the phone was soaked with the water indicator on.
