Assembly Required
I decided to purchase this squatty potty to prep for my colonoscopy. It came same day in its original package and left on my porch as I instructed. If you are wanting this item to be delivered discreetly, choose that it be Amazon packaged. It came unassembled with the hex key, hex screws, and button caps to hide the screws once assembled. I chose to use my electric tool with hex drill bit to start the initial process of putting it together then used the provided hex key to tighten everything up. I was able to assemble it in about 15 minutes on my kitchen counter. I like the aesthetic look of it in my bathroom. I like the grids on the foot pads that help me with sliding when in use. I like the flexibility of the 7” and 9” option to match height and flexibility needs when in use. It stores very comfortably under the bowl and out of the way when not in use. I had been thinking of purchasing some sort of stool prior to my procedure and I am glad I chose the wood vs. plastic version mainly for aesthetic reasons.
