Love the Wild Mountain men's skin care line!!!
I bought my boyfriend the Wild Mountain peptide serum about a month ago and he was running low which had me scrambling to replace it when I happened upon this set. First of all, as a woman that is obsessed with skincare, getting my boyfriend on board with using a serum daily was quite a joyous event. Imagine my surprise when I saw that Wild Mountain had a gift set just for HIM! And it had the sticker of the Wild Mountain Man riding a bear which made us laugh when we first saw it. It is meant to be silly and over-the-top-manly, but in reality... this line of products is actually really high quality at an unbeatable price. You get all three of the products, cleanser, serum and moisturizer, for less than the cost of an average serum.My boyfriend is prone to breakouts and I have gotten him on the cleanser bandwagon after my shriek of horror in finding that he was using his 20-1 man-shampoo, conditioner, cleanser, brake cleaner and whatever else they can use men's body washes for... on his FACE! NoooOoooOooo! I explained that your face is way more sensitive and this is why he would end up with ruddy, irritated skin. Add to that the occasional shave (he keeps a short beard but will shave for events and occasions), he had dry, irritated and flaky skin with dry skin sticking to his stubble. Ouch!The cleanser is light and gentle but still strong enough for his post-hike grime removal. It removes sebum and shine without leaving his skin dry. The serum absorbs quickly and hydrates creating the perfect surface for his final step... moisturizer. This was our first experience with the Wild Mountain moisturizer and it is just as awesome as the serum. He hates being shiny and this dries to a nice matte finish and leaves him handsome and rugged as ever. Now we just need to find a bear for him to ride around on and we would be all set in the manliest of men's realm of skin care. Entirely and absolutely recommend this set. Makes an awesome gift, too!
