1886: A Humble Beginning

George B. DeArment, a blacksmith from Evansburg, Pa., began hand-forging farrier's tools in a small factory. Then he would sell them from town to town out of the back of a wagon. Eventually, the business became known as the Champion Bolt & Clipper Company.

Mr. DeArment founded the company on four guiding principles that still have served us well over the ensuing years:

So if you're like me, and you wear fancy shirts that you can machine wash, and they get stained because you eat lunch and dinner on business meetings and trips, then you probably don't need to read this review because you've already discovered the absolute magic of this wonderful fluid. To this day only ONCE has this failed to get the stain out. I've tried everything, too! I was squeezing a lime into a bowl of pho at a restaurant on my lunch break from work and it shot out of my fingers and into the soup like a rocket throwing delicious pho all over me and completely destroying my blue cotton button-down. Once I gathered my wits and mourned the loss of half my meal I returned to work defeated, but not for long! One wash that night and the shirt was good as new. Seriously, I don't know what they're doing to make this stuff, but I hope they never stop.
