I got these before a trip to LA last September and was worried they'd be scorching from the material. Nope, not at all, they were roomy and comfy and cool. A definite "swish", but so comfortable that outweighed any self-consciousness about being noisy with basically every movement. If you cant do swish, don't do the pants.

Well. I seem to look for cargo pants when the summer arrives and, again, my legs are not ready. For that, cargo pants are good and forgiving.

In the picture, on the model, who probably has summer ready legs, these pants look great. In real life, the gray- blue color is ok. More gray than blue. The size is accurate. The fabric is similar to a windbreaker jacket. Noisy. Swoosh swoosh. A bit plastic-y.

But the feeling and sound of a parachute should have been expected, and true light blue color was a dream. Was hoping for powder blue. Is not.

Anyway, the medium is good on my 5’1 ish 130 lb ish frame. Even a bit loose. A touch of poofy? Almost, but not quite clown pants. Cute. I feel a bit silly, and they slip off the waist as I walk, so silly could give in to disaster.

My thighs were happy to not be packed into tight jeans but it would have felt better to simply have my own pants fit for once in my life. Maybe next yeat?

I don’t really want more of these. I am thinking the relief for this depressed feeling can’t be bought. Not even from Amazon.

Maybe stop shopping online and go for a walk?

these pants are HUGE. i normally wear a small so i bought an extra small. the crotch goes down almost to my knees! . these seem like an extra large. no way can i wear them at all. also the elastic around the ankles on only one leg is so loose it falls down on the ground past the foot... do not buy these unless you are very tall and on the larger side and dont mind poor quality and synthetic fabric

They're made out of thin, lightweight material. They have cinches at the waist, at two points on each leg, and at the cuffs for a customized fit, but when left as is they're delightfully poofy and balloon-y. The red color is vibrant without being gaudy, making these a pair of pants pleasingly unlike everything else I own and that I'll want to wear all the time. If you know me, you know I rarely ever write Amazon reviews, so something really has to make an impact for me to decide to write about it. I love these. They're just well-made and comfortable and good. Everybody needs that.
