And you can make stuff with it. I made a bunch of pen rests so my fountain pens won't roll away if I put them own for a minute. Everybody said they would crack when they dry out, but there has been very little cracking. I never had Play-Doh as a child so, at age 81, I wanted to see what I had missed. It is fun and comes in many colors. Being proficient in conditioning polymer clay, I thought to treat the Play-Doh in a similar manner and condition it thoroughly by hand to soften and make it more amenable to gentle shaping. What little cracking there has been will certainly not affect the function of a pen rest, so I am happy with the results.

Everybody said they would crack when they dry out, but there has been very little cracking. I never had Play-Doh as a child so, at age 81, I wanted to see what I had missed. It is fun and comes in many colors. Being proficient in conditioning polymer clay, I thought to treat the Play-Doh in a similar manner and condition it thoroughly by hand to soften and make it more amenable to gentle shaping. What little cracking there has been will certainly not affect the function of a pen rest, so I am happy with the results.
