I have recently been told I have Rosacea and have been looking for creams that are gentle on my face/skin. I ordered this hoping it would work on my face as a gentle sunscreen. I really wanted this to work. I tried it on my arm first, 30 minutes before going out in the sun/shade (mostly shade). I was out for maybe an hour in my vegetable garden and when I came in, I noticed both arms had yellow blotchy patches in them. It washed off with regular hand soap and water but I have no idea why this happened - glad I didn't put it on my face. I didn't want to give a bad review because I really like other products by this seller - I love the Calming Cleanser which I use every night before bed to wash off my makeup. I don't know how to rate the sun protection/moisturizing features because I only used it once, but it seemed to spread on ok - it was thinner than I expected but that's not a bad thing if it protects from sun despite being thin.

This is hands down my favorite tinted mineral sunscreen! I've tried at least 20-30 others now but nothing beats this one. It provides more coverage than others and evens out the redness on my cheeks. It still looks natural and provides a blurring effect that makes my pores and textured skin look great. It does not get oily or greasy throughout the day either. It hasn't caused any breakouts or clogged pores on my sensitive, acne prone skin. The color can be a little dark for my super pale skin in the winter but it's barely noticeable and putting bronzer on my neck evens it out. I have dry skin and live in a dry climate, and this does slightly dry out certain areas of my face after a couple hours (I'm guessing due to the higher zinc %). I wish they made a non-matte version of this. If my face is feeling extra dry that day, I'll mix a bit of a glowy sunscreen in with it. If you want more coverage, you can mix a cc cream or a couple drops of foundation with it as well. Overall, this is the absolute best of the best for tinted mineral sunscreen that provides the perfect amount of coverage and really protects you from the sun.

There is literally nothing from her line I don't love. Everything is such top quality. This is a very lightweight tinted moisturizer with nice glide across the skin. It blends seamlessly. My only criticism I guess would be that the tint is fairly light. It'll blend into any skin tone I think, but if you were more medium or dark skin tone you won't be getting any color from this. I'm hoping she makes these in some other shades soon for those of us who use tinted moisturizer as a foundation.

I love that this is matte but not drying, contains THD ascorbate, and finally an spf that works for my pale cool skin tone and does not bother my skin or eyes (unless already flared up). I wish this didn't contain Cyclopentasiloxane which is bioaccumulative and persistent in the environment. I do use this, but am still on the hunt for something else that will work for me without the Cyclopentasiloxane.

I am a very fair skinned person, with a history of multiple basal cell skin cancers. So using daily sunscreen is essential for me.

I’ve tried a lot of facial sunscreens over the years, and what makes this one stand out are these:

-not greasy. Very comfortable over my daily moisturizer and under my makeup.

-does not irritate my eyes. I put this on my lids and under my eyes, and it still does not irritate. One of my first skin cancers was in my eyebrow, so being able to wear this so close to my eyes is so important to me.

-MOST IMPORTANTLY: excellent sun protection! I still love being outside, and I do not get any sun on my face when I wear this.

The tinting is barely noticeable to me. Again, I’m fair skinned and was worried it would look too dark but I can’t really even see it after I’ve rubbed it in.

I didn't want to give a bad review because I really like other products by this seller - I love the Calming Cleanser which I use every night before bed to wash off my makeup. I don't know how to rate the sun protection/moisturizing features because I only used it once, but it seemed to spread on ok - it was thinner than I expected but that's not a bad thing if it protects from sun despite being thin.

I have recently been told I have Rosacea and have been looking for creams that are gentle on my face/skin. I ordered this hoping it would work on my face as a gentle sunscreen. I really wanted this to work. I tried it on my arm first, 30 minutes before going out in the sun/shade (mostly shade). I was out for maybe an hour in my vegetable garden and when I came in, I noticed both arms had yellow blotchy patches in them. It washed off with regular hand soap and water but I have no idea why this happened - glad I didn't put it on my face. I have very oily skin, I've always battled with shine. I've tried many..many facial sunscreens, and spent a lot of money in the process, but no more! This is perfect for me. Beautiful texture, super lightweight, matte finish without looking 'flat'. It doesn't crease or settle in fine lines.
I'm not one for sitting out in the sun but I've never burnt with this on my face and neck. I wear it daily, all year round.
