I bought these lights to replace two that I have which are no longer holding a charge. The lights are very similar to the old ones - in fact the are almost identical looking lights. I suspect they came from the same factory in China and just sold under a different manufacture's name. The only real difference I could see is the first pair I purchased in 2019 uses a slider switch to set one of the three modes of operation where as these use a button you need to press. Regardless, they are both nice lights.
I have one above my garage door and one near my back door. I run them both in Mode 3, which is to come on and stay on for a short duration when motion is detected. They put off plenty of light too. Enough to easily see your surroundings for security purposes or do things like get groceries out of your trunk at night. They have strong plastic frames and a decent sized solar panel to capture light during the daytime. As I mentioned the mode is set by pressing a button on the back side which causes the light to blink a number of times. The number of blinks corresponds to the set mode i.e. 1, 2, 3 or Off - simple enough.
I did not realize the battery is replaceable until I read the instructions. I was able to replace the battery in one of my old units with one I had laying around so now have three operating lights and one spare. To be fair I purchased my first pair of lights in 2019 and the solar panel is pretty faded, so not sure how efficient the old one is...although it does appear to be working fine. To be honest the light has been pretty weak for over a year so the batteries need to be replaced every three to four years based on my experience....still not too bad.
Very pleased with these lights for the price and would buy again. Although next time I will just be buying new rechargeable batteries.

Great lights, Great value!
I got these lights to replace older, less bright lights… They have exceeded my expectations! Very bright for their size, and several different lighting modes to choose from. Just got these and so far, I’m very pleased! They come with mounting screws but I didn’t want to put any additional holes in my vinyl siding, so I mounted them with clip-in siding clips, here on Amazon! Definitely a great value when you get them with promotional discounts! Highly recommend!

I have been using these lights for almost a year now and they are fantastic and still working great! Even if it's cloudy for a few days, they never fail to turn on when I walk by (when it's dark). They are very bright; these little lights pack a punch, I did not expect them to be as bright as they are! I have one over my shed door and two over windows on the one side of my house that doesn't have motion detector lights. The one over my shed lights up even before my electric motion detector lights! I was hesitant to drill into our aluminum siding to affix them; I saw a YouTube video where someone had just used Velcro to attach them. You wouldn't think that would work but even through some crazy thunderstorms last summer they are still attached. But they're also partially sitting on top of the window frames so that helps too. I also have one attached to our fence to deter critters out of our garden. Even after the winter and the snow storms, they are still working great! I would definitely recommend, very worth the price!

Just to be clear on the instructions:
Setting 1, light is continuous low light till the battery runs out
Setting 2, Light is very bright for 15 seconds then continuous low light till the battery runs out
Setting 3, Light is bright for 15 seconds and then shuts off. It will turn back on when motion is detected bright for 15 seconds then shut off again.

The brightness of this light is very good. I'm not sure why they include sheet rock inserts with screws. If I want to change how the light operates (3 choices), I need access to the back where the selection button is located. I installed mine using a out door velcro so I may remove the light to change the setting. I took a photo before install and after showing access to the switch. The switch would be much better off on the outside. I give it 5 stars for brightness, but 3 stars for lack of access to the selection switch.Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2024
