You know how you buy something just to buy it, then you love it but forget where you bought it from? That's was the case with me. I had tried many clarifying shampoos and they all just made my hair brittle. I would have to followup my wash with a ton of conditioner just to detangle my hair . But then I used this bottle of shampoo that I bought from somewhere. It had set in my bathroom closet at least 2 months before I used it. First use, wow! 2nd, 3rd use, Wow! Same result each time. It not only clarifies, it leaves your hair moist and soft. The best part is the slippage which makes detangling during the wash a breeze. It has a simple, gentle breeze scent that's not overpowered by perfumes. Wonderful right. But then I ran out. I panicked because I did not know where I had purchased it. I went to every store that I frequent most. Finally, I am at Sally's and explain to the helpfull cashier how good it was and how badly I wanted it. She said, "I am sorry we don't carry it and I don't know where you might find it. Have you tried AMAZON?" I said no, I know I didn't get it from there, even tho I shop on Amazon every other day. I do recommend it but the selfish side of me wants to keep it to myself so that they never run out of stock.

I’m a guy who uses clays/fibers/pomade pretty much everyday—after awhile product residue starts to build up and makes my scalp itchy. This clarifying shampoo seems to do the trick for a deep clean. I use it once a week and it makes a big difference.

It has a citrusy smell which is okay, but kind of reminds me of cleaning spray. It’s not the worst thing in the world but I do notice it.

Others have noted dryness after using this shampoo—I always condition pretty afterward and don’t experience anything too bad. I do expect some “extra” dryness but I don’t find it intolerable.

4/5 stars from me because it definitely helps with product buildup, but I don’t love the scent or the way it lathers. I will probably order it again because I think it’s a a good clarifying shampoo at this price point.

I have 3B thick, curly hair, and this shampoo worked great. I have tried different clarifying shampoos in the past which left my scalp so dry and itchy. But not this shampoo… This shampoo worked great, it cleansed my hair nicely and it doesn’t smell overpowering either which is great. Your hair will feel cleansed but not stripped like wire. My curls were popping after I did my routine. Just make sure not to over use clarifying shampoo as if you use it too often, it WILL dry out your hair. 👍

My hair stylist said I should use a good clarifying shampoo weekly on my hair because I use a lot of sticky styling products. I didn't know which to get but this brand seemed to be good. The reviews were good and price was fair. The shampoo doesn't really lather because it is sulfate free. I know that it isn't necessary for shampoo or soap to lather to do the job but I get satisfaction out of seeing lather. Nonetheless, this CLEARLY cleans because it removed all the products and a lot of my red highlights! It looked like my head was bleeding.

My highlights aren't that new. They are about a month old. Regular shampoo doesn't fade them but this shampoo nearly stripped all the color. If that is the goal - to get rid of built up or temporary color - this stuff works well. If you want to preserve your color, especially if it easily fadeable like red or purple, be careful. You may see your color (and money you paid for the color job) go down the drain. Having said that, my hair is much softer and cleaner and I can tell a difference. But I don't think I will be using this often. It is better for non color treated hair, in my opinion.

I was looking for a more ‘natural’ ingredient clarifying shampoo for my colored hair and thought I’d give this a try. In addition to color, my hair is curly and I put a lot of moisturizer products in it, depend on dry shampoo for those day 2’s and 3’s - so I was experiencing a lot of buildup. This smells great, lathers really well, and it works. After just one time I noticed a difference. My hair was really soft and my dry shampoo didn’t clump up on unseen gross buildup from hair products (*shudder*). I kinda think my curls were extra springy. The only downfall is, I noticed quite a bit of color coming out of my hair when rinsing as I used this shampoo. Keep in mind I’m a redhead by choice, red is notorious for fading faster than any other color. But once styled, I didn’t notice my color fading any sooner than it normally would before using this shampoo. Even if it did, I keep a gloss on hand for just that so not a deal breaker for me. This shampoo is fantastic for clarifying your hair! I use it once a month and notice a big difference. If you have damaged curls, you will see your curls being extra curly with this product. It recommends being used only once a month because It is a strong shampoo. I mainly got it to help with my flaky scalp, and it does just that! False advertising & inadequate return postage!

As opposed to what was advertised, this product is fragrant, it has a very strong citrus smell. On returning the item, I was not given an Australia Post label as ebay does. Instead I was given a useless label with an address and Amazon barcode, so I had to pay for postage myself. I would not buy from this seller again and this experience has turned me off Amazon for not providing an adequate returns policy for their buyers.

this is a very good product to clean your scalp and to get rid of product build up. Also my (hair kinky 4b) tends to get dry with any shampoo, but this one just leaves my hair so soft with shine. Maybe because it has very simple ingredients it works. Also my hair did not dry out, when air dried. I was able to comb my hair without it looking dry. I did not need to use a conditioner. You don't have to use a lot to get good results. My son and daughter now use this product also, and their hair was clean I actually saw a difference, their hair colour, no dullness what so ever. good product, not going to look back at other shampoos that claim do care for your hair.

I will never buy another brand for a clearing shampoo ever again. This shampoo is such a nice surprise!! I have mixed hair (Caucasian / African) my hair are very fragile. They are thin and coil and they break at nothing. It took me years to learn about them. I know that if I want them floating around in the wind when they get flat iron I need to make sure at least once a month they get really really clean and no build up is there. Most clearing shampoo end up getting my hair so dry. They would break or feel rough even with a ton of moisturizer. So I would do it less than a month because i would get scared they would break each time. Or I would end up in a salon to get it done. This shampoo doesn’t break my hair! I can’t believe it’s so unexpensive and so good! It’s been many months ive been using it and I just love it so much. I have spend so much with other brands to get really bad result. I just didn’t care anymore I thought all clearing shampoo were like that. But no! Not this one! This one leaves my hair super soft and extremely clean. But not « rough » clean. Just soft clean. My hair are finally getting super long. And the light minty smell is delicious and subtle. I LOVE IT. (You still need to moisturize after!!! Like with an hair mask and an heating cap. But let’s just say it will be easier!)
