We bought this to replace the old ice cream maker like it that finally bit the dust. It works fine. we made a few batches of ice cream with it and 2 out of the three came out great. It was perfect , though soft, and tasted amazing. There was one batch where my husband expected it to stop and it didn't and the ice cream got a little weird. So we check it now. It does feel a little more flimsy than the old one but I expect it to last hopefully a few years. Nothing is made like it used to be.
