Pleasantly surprised
I purchased this ice cream maker, but was a little skeptical because it's pretty affordable compared to some. So far so good. I especially like the plastic bucket that keeps the melted ice and salt contained without leaking. The motor seems to be powerful enough, and doesn't overheat. The consistency of the ice cream has been great. The only thing I wish was different was that the canister was a little wider and not so tall because it's hard to scoop out the bottom without getting I've cream all over. However, I knew that was going to happen with the 6 qt, and is a minor inconvenience.
