I have thin porous wavy-curly hair. I have to use lighter styling products and make sure that I use a clarifying shampoo once a week. This one is really nice! It doesn’t have any ingredients that make my scalp itch, it smells like grapefruit, works like want it too! Will buy again.

I’ve had this for 2 weeks and used twice so far. It cleansed my scalp very well, removed any buildup. It left my hair feeling lightweight and with more volume than there was before. It’s easier to maintain since using this. I wouldn’t use more than twice a week since it does tend to leave your hair a litte dry if you overuse it. It has a nice grapefruit scent, not too overpowering but it’s noticeable so if grapefruit isn’t your thing I wouldn’t get it. Also beware if you have dyed your hair because this will strip a lot of the dye out, other than that it’s 👌🏻

I have oily hair. It's very fine, so it soaks up oil on my scalp immediately.
After I wash it, no matter what shampoo/conditioner/leave in products I do or don't use, I get the same results - it looks good for 1 day, then it looks okay for 1 day, then greasy for 1 day, then ridiculously, unacceptably greasy and dirty after that. I am so envious of people who say they wash their hair once or twice per week. I'm an every-other-day (mayyyybe every 3 days if I am staying at home) kind of a girl. I have to be, if I want to look at all presentable. Which is annoying and inconvenient, considering how lazy I am.
This shampoo has not changed my life, and my hair continues to get greasy after only 2 days. However, it looks great, especially on the first day! The shampoo smells like the Neutrogena grapefruit face wash I used in my teens, so I'm constantly doing double-takes, thinking that I just slathered face wash on my scalp. But the scent is very nice after I stop panicking! And when I rinse it out, my hair instantly feels beyond clean. It's such a nice feeling. When I get lazy and go a few days without washing my hair, this shampoo cuts through all that grease easily and effectively. I don't have to go in for a second round like I do with other shampoos.
I would recommend this shampoo, especially if you have oily hair like me and you're tired of the "lather-rinse-repeat" routine (does that remind anyone else of Ethan Craft??).
Overall, a good shampoo. I am still waiting for the day when a shampoo can keep my hair oil-free for multiple days in a row, though. I dream of that day.

Really works on the itch! But just don't use too much. I washed my hair with it 3 times the first time I used it and my hair became very soft and fly away. Next time I'll try washing only twice. Oh, and it smells real nice too.

I have oily hair and get a lot of build up quickly so I need a good clarifying shampoo to alternate with gentler shampoos. This actually leaves my hair looking clean and beautiful but it leaves my scalp gross and I can smell my own scalp with I turn my head. Yuck. I’m on the fence about buying it again because it does keep my hair looking nice.

I tried it for like two months, and man it's good, I am a young man, my hair has medium length, super greasy, the smallest effort, work, gym, walking or stress would create an oil factory in my head and this one definitely did the job of cleansing it. But it does dry out the hair if you wash daily like I do. So I still had to use a conditioner, one from OGX with apple cider vinegar. They work like a charm
