Works great, make sure ribbon is in right spot
Works great! I had one of these previously and they changed the design a little. I saw reviews about the bottle coming up through the holder but I think I figured it out, the small ribbon at the top needs to be on the inside of the cap (whereas on the previous design it was on the outside). Hope that helps!

This is great for my short to medium distance runs. Fits my iPhone 13, a gel, key FOB & ID with no problem. I can access my phone through the clear case which was what drew me to this model. When tightened there is no need to grip the bottle. I switch hands every mile to keep balanced.

This water bottle has worked out really well for me. It's probably not for everyone - I never would have thought I'd want a handheld bottle for running. I have a waist belt for long runs but right now I'm concentrating on just fun/fitness/maintenance with 3-4 miles, 2x a week, so the belt is excessive. I was tucking one of the belt bottles into my BRA, but this is a less than ideal solution. I was hoping to find a hand grip for one of the belt bottles (by FuelBelt) but after looking around I found this. The bottle is bigger than I really need (even in 80+ degree weather, I haven't emptied it on a run), but the ability to have my phone attached was too good. It's so much easier to check in on my app. My Pixel 3 is a snug fit but it's just big enough. I can also fit keys, cards, and a waterproof phone pouch on days when I'm tempting the weather (can't zip it all the way closed if the phone is in the pouch, but it works out). The kit itself seems very light as even with a full bottle I don't mind the weight at all, and it can be secured around my hand comfortably enough that I don't have to grip it much. Really pleased with this item overall.

I've logged about 50 miles running so far with two of these. Here are the pros and cons in my experience.

Pros:
- Comfortable fit on the hand. No need to grip, they're tight enough without being too tight and the thumb hole is added security.
- Convenient window for viewing the bulky iPod they now make (I miss the smaller one for running) and perhaps a cell phone to stay connected while running far from home.
- Headphone port through the cell phone sleeve for easy access, and two compartments in the sleeve. One up against the clear plastic and another behind to separate money, ID, etc.
- Bottles go in and out of the sleeves easily and they stay secure. I don't imagine the material will tire of stretching and become loose anytime soon.

Cons:
- Not terribly easy to squeeze and get water. It's not a matter of grip strength so much as how far your thumb goes around the bottle. I suppose those with really long thumbs might have an easier time, but average-handed people will find it a bit more difficult or have to suck on the cap to get any water.
- One of my caps is tight, the other leaks like a sieve. It's a combination of the screw-top not sealing well and the cap's rubber "flapper" not sealing well.
- Expensive... I believe my Nathan running back pack with a water bladder and hose was only slightly more expensive than two of these, and it holds way more water, holds more valuables, etc. If you're looking for handheld hydration, there are cheaper options out there.

I purchased this for my iPhone 8 Plus, unfortunately even when I took the case of my phone it was still to small to fit. I did however test a S8 Edge that fit and IPhone X that also fit both with cases on (no crazy extra heavy duty cases just normal ones). I will be returning this product because it does not work for me, if you have a iPhone X or S8 Edge I would recommend it though, there was still plenty of room in the case for keys and wallet with those two phones.

Pros
Small and allows you to store phone(see photo for iPhone X w/ case on still in holder).
Clear screen is great allows me to quickly access phone.

Cons
Does not fit the bigger IPhone 6,7,8 Plus models (see picture for iPhone 8 Plus)
Bottle will not stand up on its own so if you plan on using this in the gym it can get annoying quickly.

I had read many reviews that mentioned this issue, but I trusted it because it was listed as an "Amazon Choice" item which I usually trust. Was so excited to get this just in time for my long run. This thing was an utter disappointment from the first couple of steps. This bottle does NOT seal around the cap whatsoever. With every step, this bottle dripped and leaked all over my hand which wasn't so great in 45 degree weather. The hand strap/phone holder was completely soaked within minutes. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be if I actually had my phone in the holder. By the time I actually took a drink at about 4 miles, almost 1/3 of the water was already gone just from leaking. I'm really disappointed, because other than the leaking, I really liked the design of this bottle. The hand strap and rubber hand hold was very comfortable and I think would have been nice for my runs. Amazon, you need to do some rethinking on what you label as your choice products.

I have an Amphipod water bottle prior to this Nathan water bottle until the zipper broke, thus causing me to order this one.

Pros
- the clear front on the pocket is great for quick view of incoming messages and alerts
Cons
- the pocket is smaller than other handheld water bottles - it's pretty snug with a phone in there
- the water bottle mouth is small. When I fill it with the fridge water filter, it always spills at the end of fill up.
- the water bottle mouth doesn't have a "close" position

I ended up taking the Nathan handheld part and putting it on my Amphipod water bottle - that helps all the fill-up spills and being able to close. However, I still wish the pocket was bit bigger so I could put a car key or an MP3 player in there as well.

It’s good for holding your phone and water however I can hardly see the phone when it’s in there as it seems to be foggy or something. Also have to take the case off of my iPhone 13 Pro in order for it to fit. The water bottle part is good though, not heavy , ran a half with it.
