This is a great shelf unit and is easy to assemble and is sturdy to boot....The box it came in is the thin type of cardboard that may not show damage on the outside but the product inside can be damaged..I opened this and spread all the parts out and of course the very bottom rack is a disaster....the saving grace here is that because of the bulk items I am storing on it, I really didn't need the 6th shelf.....so I ended up using 5 shelves and making it a 5 tier unit. This way I can space the shelves at around 10-12 inches in between. I am including the pics so you can be aware that his damage happened and the box really seem all that messed up. Now, all the pieces were there to complete the job and it is well made, so I have no grievance there.....
