Don't know about the wood material or such but. This product works very well. A couple quick bursts gives VERY good bubbles. The bottle is a bit unusual but is very easy to use, it locks positively in the machine with a small twist, and push it straight. 2 quick pulses on the button and you have excellent result.
I was concerned about what happens in a warranty situation as it's covered by 2 year warranty. I sent off an email to MY Soda and they reassured me it's quite simple to resolve if needed. So it's a really nice machine, at a really good price. Better than the major competitor? Hard to say. Certainly better looking. Carbonates very effectively and it's long lasting. I've left carbonated bottles in my fridge for 2 days and they open with a reassuring pffft and plenty of bubbles.

It’s fine.
This product works fine but no matter the amount of CO2 I put in it falls flat so quickly? Not sure what I can do to improve that as I seal on the lid as soon as humanly possible..
