Great All Around Brush
Really great brush, handle has good heft that you can get a good grip with with little rubber dimp,es so it doesnt slip in your hand, it has two heads, one soft and one a little stiffer for scrubbing, the soft head is just right for showering without wearing out too quickly and the stiffer head can be used if you really have to scrub something, but the dual head can be awkward due to its size. So, this is what you do. As soon as you get the rush, take the stiff brush and pry it off of the handle b sticking a screwdriver under the plastic head. That lightens the brush and makes it more streamlined. Then get an old worn out body brush and cut the handle off then glue the stiff brush to the head of the old body brush. Now you have a great hand brush for really scrubbing your hands when they are gritty. So you are getting two great brushes at a good price.

I have been meaning to write a review on this Shower brush for a while, but just kept forgetting. The first thing I will say that the brush was great while it lasted. The soft and hard bristles worked well and the length of the handle was perfect. The problem is that it did not last and I bought two of them, but because of this defect, pictured above, I had to buy another brand.
The real issue is that in the shower, when the wood gets wet and it expands, the plastic is non-porous and does not expand with it. As the wood of the brush contracts and expands, it causes the plastic bristle insert to crack and that is what holds the bristles in the brush. Once this happens you will start to see the bristles fall out and the brush is less than ideal for its intended use.
I started seeing the cracking within 30-60 days of use in the shower. I would suggest getting a wooden brush with a rubber bristle insert that can handle the expansion and contracting of the wood or get an all plastic shower brush (what I ended up doing).
The real issue is that in the shower, when the wood gets wet and it expands, the plastic is non-porous and does not expand with it.
