1. Twist the mascara wand to remove it from the tube. 2. Wipe off any excess mascara on the rim of the tube. 3. Apply the mascara by wiggling the wand at the base of the lashes and sweeping it upwards. 4. Repeat the process for the desired level of volume and length. 5. Close the mascara tube after use.

I’ll start off my review but stating that this is a very cute idea for a gift or even a stocking stuffer. It includes some very good, and very popular mini products. While I was aware that these were not full sized when purchasing, I was still a little taken back but how small they actually are. I do feel that this is a good price for this and you can try out three different products. The packaging is also very very cute and good for gifting. As you can see in my photos, the one I received was just a little dinged up and bent out of shape on each side but this isn’t so severe to the point that I’m dreading giving it as a gift, it’s not a big issue. I do however wish that there would have been a clear sheet of plastic or something similar in the front of the box, seeing as you can touch and move the mascaras and eyeliner without even opening the box, and some plastic to something as a barrier would have been wise. I do remember this especially for the holidays or even if you just want to try these out yourself. Very cute for gifting.

Are there better mascaras than Great Lash? Yes. Are there better ones at the same price? Not that I have found. And here's the thing...if I spend a chunk of money on a tube of high end mascara, I tend to use it for an unhealthy length of time. After a couple months, it's getting dry but I hate to toss it because it cost so much. The best mascara on the market isn't going to be as good as a fresh tube of Great Lash once it gets dry and old mascara can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Just put the Great Lash on subscription. Yearly, you'll spend as much on the 6-8 tubes of Great Lash as you would on the 3-4 tubes of high end mascara, you'll always have a decent, fresh mascara and you'll never have a nasty, dry, bacteria ridden tube.
