    I am 76 and my husband is 78. We began doing Lego sets a few months ago, after our grandchildren encouraged us to try them. We bought our three grandchildren and their spouses/significant others Lego kits for Christmas and we were intrigued. I have done several now, mostly flowers. I did the bonsai, orchid, the dachshund and husky. ( we are in dachshund rescue and found two huskies)I have bought a few off brands and although they turned out pretty, they were definitely more frustrating as the pieces didn’t snap together easily and at times didn’t fit at all. No comparison to Lego.We wish some of the Lego products were less expensive so we could buy more so I was happy to see this small arrangement.

    I bought this lotus flower set for myself, and it only took me a little while to make it. Each stem with flower is bagged separately, making it easy to put together. You can make the stem as long or short as you want. The leaves on the two open flowers have bendable hinged leaves so you can make them look more realistic. They look cute in a vase, and I'm very pleased with the results.
    I had to send a picture of them to my grandkids so they could see Mom-Mom's Legos :)
