I loved the Knight Rider series and was really glad to get this book. I would highly recommend it for any KR fan. It contains a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff and a great episode guide for the entire series. If you collect episode guide books(and I have several myself)this is one you'll want to add to your collection.

For any serious fans of the 80's TV show Knight Rider, this will be a great read. The meat of the book is centered around the "original" Knight Rider including chapters on how the show originated, how KITT was designed, a chapter by chapter look through each of the 4 seasons of the original series AND a episode guide including cast/crew/commentary/trivia

But what really makes this book shine is it INCLUDES info on the series that followed the original Knight Rider: Knight Rider 2000, Knight Rider 2010, and Team Knight Rider.

The only downside is that some of the pictures in the book could use improvement. Some of the larger black/white pictures are fine. But some of the smaller pics are very tough to make out. Black and white photos are ok, but they should have printed them on high quality gloss and put the pics in the middle of the book like some books do rather than on the standard paper the book was printed on.

Other than the picture, the book is a good read for those interested in Knight Rider.

MINOR NOTE (10/2/04)

With the release of Season One (and hopefully other seasons) of Knight Rider this book makes a good companion to the DVD's. Another reason to pick it up if you haven't already!

Look out for trivias from each episode from the Knight Rider tv show and find out things u never knew about Knight Rider... The only guide book out there for all the Knight Rider fanatics.. Go get it if u really love the show...

I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the pictures in the book though... The pics in the book is not coloured and some aren't very clear. Thats the downside of this book. But if u are looking for facts and info abt Knight Rider, than this book is for u...

Other than the typo's in this book, it is good. You can learn a lot about the car, the people in the show (why did William Daniels deny credit for Kitt's voice, and why did Patricia MacPherson leave the show then come back) as well as how the show came about. Great history and details behind the scenes.

There is also a good episode guide that gives you background on each episode as well as listing episodes that were written but never filmed. I would definitely recommend this title for any Knight Rider fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars A labour of love
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 22, 2013
This is a great book for any Knight Rider fan. The authors have managed to interview nearly everyone associated with the original series and the content gives a great insight into the four sessions we all know and continue to enjoy.

My only comment on how to improve this book would be to have large pictures as it does contain some great behind the scenes shots but they are reproduced too small to really appreciate.

All in all, a great read, highly recommended.
