Complete with a wireless subwoofer, the Reference Theater Pack brings the Klipsch cinematic sound into your home with an incredibly minimal footprint.

    Cinematic Performance
The Reference Theater Pack delivers superior acoustic performance by leveraging Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofers. These exceptionally lightweight cones are extremely rigid - providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.

A Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. LTS tweeters have been a hallmark of our Reference series product lines, making it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world.

    Horn-Loaded Power
Our exclusive Tractrix Horn Technology and aluminum tweeters deliver the most impressive high-end response and greater extension, enhanced imaging and powerful dynamics. This creates the cleanest, most natural sound possible.

    Wireless, Robust Bass
The down-firing wireless subwoofer is designed to deliver room-filling low frequencies without requiring too much floorspace. The 2.4GHz connectivity allows for premium, CD-quality sound anywhere in the room. Simply connect the compact, pre-paired transmitter to the subwoofer or LFE out on your receiver and place the subwoofer where it sounds and fits best in your room. The built-in all-digital subwoofer amplifier delivers ample power with high efficiency and true-to-source accuracy.

    Flexible System Placement
To complement the easy placement of the wireless subwoofer, each satellite speaker has a keyhole mount and a 1/4" x 20 threaded insert (the center channel has dual keyhole / inserts) for maximum mounting flexibility.

    Wireless Subwoofer Connectivity
2.4 GHz connectivity allows for premium, CD-quality sound anywhere in the room. Simply connect the compact, pre-paired transmitter to the subwoofer or LFE out on your receiver.

    Spun Copper IMG Cones
Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofers are exceptionally light while being extremely rigid - providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.

    All-Digital Amplifier
The built-in all-digital subwoofer amplifier delivers ample power with high efficiency and true-to-source accuracy in reproduction.

    Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) Tweeter

For your system to be properly in phase, or aligned to this action, your subwoofer needs to have its driver pulse outward on the same kick drum thump. If we reverse the orientation at our phase switch (so that output is quieter), that means our driver will be moving backward as your speaker’s driver is moving outward. This means we are cancelling bass from your main speaker, and thus reducing the overall output of bass, which is counterproductive. The only two downsides are that the subwoofer does not have a cover. I know that it is pointed down but if someone goes to move it, they might accidentally damage the speaker. Also, the magnetic covers come off fairly easy, so if you have the speakers in a high traffic area, you might need to be careful.

I've got probably the weirdest use-case scenario for these. For about 7 years now I've been using the Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system for my PC and love the surround sound cues in FPS games, but it's always bugged me that there are no tweeters, just 3" drivers. I recently upgraded the downstairs and upstairs audio setups in the house with SVS Ultra speakers, and when going between those systems and my PC it became painfully obvious that something was missing. I also recently installed a WiiM Amp in my bedroom but couldn't find a set of speakers that had good bass without also totally dominating the top of the bureau where they sat. I decided I needed a wireless subwoofer but didn't really want to pay the $900 for an SVS Micro 3000. A year or two ago I stumbled across this Klipsch 5.1 speaker system on Amazon and bookmarked it. At first the price tag bugged me but it finally dawned on me that it would solve several problems all at once, for much cheaper than other solutions. So now I've replaced the 3 front PC speakers (Left, Center, Right) with units from this package, and connected the remaining two speakers and the sub to the WiiM Amp. It made a noticeable and immediate improvement to the sound on my PC: voices on YouTube clips sound much more realistic and present - not just because of improved high end due to the tweeters, but they also seem to handle lower notes more convincingly as well (I've got these crossed at 80Hz like before but you can actually hear more bass directionally now, which means it's coming from the speaker, not the sub). In-game sound is also massively improved. And music sounds so much better and has a more holographic soundstage. The original Logitech speakers are doing just fine as the rear surrounds, since they don't get a whole lot of use. Upstairs, the WiiM amp setup now sounds exactly like what I was looking for, and the speakers are a much better fit for the available space. I think the WiiM Amp is much happier driving smaller speakers, too. It's probably overkill for a bedroom stereo but I'm thrilled with it.

I've seen a few reviews here saying the sub was defective, one guy even went so far as to call it a fake because something big was rattling around inside (I suspect the amp or part of it got dislodged by being dropped in shipping or something). Mine worked immediately and the wireless connection is perfect for my needs. I don't see this system on the Klipsch site so I am assuming it must be discontinued. Regardless, it's a great value and I'm sooooooo glad I finally pulled the trigger on these.

Edited to add: I was finally able to find these on the Klipsch site (by googling "Klipsch Black Reference Theater Pack 5.1" and following the link, I couldn't locate them through the site itself) . It does look like maybe they've been discontinued but it's hard to tell. More interestingly, it says that the original price was around $1300, which really explains a whole whole lot about why these sound so good. Discontinued or not, I'm really glad to get ahold of them for $399 instead. Love 'em to bits!

I've bought a name brand at 240.00 twice, and twice after a time they had their controller/or amp fail, causing unbearable interference static. I decided to up to the next level for 400.00. These Klipschs 5.1 Theater speakers are the best sounding speakers I've ever heard. To my surprised I thought they were amplified and Bluetooth, and came with speaker wires, nope, only the subwoofer is Bluetooth. BUT, I realize this makes them a set of forever speakers, I did save all my speaker wires from my other two sets of failures. I bought a 200 watt Pyle amp with Bluetooth for 100.00, it'll be a lot cheaper down the road if I need to replace the amp and never have to replace these fantastic sounding Klipsch 5.1 speakers. Also these speakers were delivered in 7 days and the packing was the ultimate. A 110 % satisfied customer with the speakers and the seller ADORAMA. Robert W., CT.

Pretty good value for the money. The receiver does a lot and the speakers really sound great. Once you get used to how it works and interacts with the Playstation 5 and TV it isn't bad. IDK how I can turn on the PS5 and it will go to the right output, turn on my TV and be ready to go.

Surround and vocals for movies are much better than any soundbar we have had. As it is a wired system, not everyone will like running wires to all the speakers.

The setup was easy and my subwoofer connected the first time. It can be a little intimidating to set the low pass, gain, and phase but here are some simple setup methods that can help you get started.
    • Low pass
Also known as the crossover, this setting controls the frequency at which the subwoofer takes over from other speakers. A common rule of thumb for stereo music playback is to set the low pass to 70% of the speaker's lowest Hz. For example, if your speakers are rated at 35 Hz, you would set the low pass to 25 Hz. You can also try setting the low pass to 40–60 Hz for larger floor-standing speakers, 50–80 Hz for smaller bookshelf speakers, or 80–160 Hz for small satellite speakers. However, you can experiment with different settings to see what sounds best in your room.
    • Gain
To adjust the gain, play music at a low volume and slowly increase the subwoofer amp's gain until the subwoofer's sound overpowers the other speakers without distorting. You can then back it off slightly until the sound is clean.

    • Phase
Phase is a simple Yes/No digital decision. The question you are asking is simple, “Is it louder when I flick the switch to 0 or to 180?” These numbers relate to degrees of phase, but there is no standard for where we begin. There is no intrinsic correctness to either 0 or 180 degrees as your final listening result, so select either ‘0’ or ‘180’ based on whichever setting is louder.
Your speaker’s bass driver should be pulsing outward on a bass transient, like a kick drum’s “thump”. For your system to be properly in phase, or aligned to this action, your subwoofer needs to have its driver pulse outward on the same kick drum thump.
If we reverse the orientation at our phase switch (so that output is quieter), that means our driver will be moving backward as your speaker’s driver is moving outward. Also, the magnetic covers come off fairly easy, so if you have the speakers in a high traffic area, you might need to be careful.

Conjunto funciona bem para sistemas de Home Theater, mas observar que potência RMS é de 50W.
O sistema de som é de qualidade e a construção das caixas também, fiquei impressionado.

5.0 out of 5 stars Klipsch delivers great sound!

This is a great system especially for the price. I wanted something compact yet powerful to have an older Yamaha receiver 100 watt/channel/300 watt rms that drives excellent sound. These Klipsch speakers deliver! The wireless subwoofer works incredibly well and vibrates the floor. It has great bass sub performance and installation was smooth. When I get a moment in a few weeks or so I will add a video or pictures (rearranging my entertainment built in a wee bit first). If your looking for something for around $500 you can’t go wrong with these in my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Para habitaciones pequeñas y medianas

It’s klipsch need I say more, the subwoofer is extremely effective had to really dial it down as the window frames and door frames started rattling, setup is trouble free and the push connectors make it so easy to wire everything, the small foot print of the satellite speakers make it convenient to use a stand, paired with a good amp, this system really gives u a bang for your buck, to bad it’s discontinued
