I decided to give this product a shot because of its affordable price tag and the stellar reviews it had received. As someone who invested a lot in k-tip extensions, I'm adamant about keeping them in pristine condition for as long as possible – they're supposed to last between 4 to 6 months with proper care. However, barely a month in, I noticed my extensions were becoming uncomfortably dry, which was far from ideal given that my natural hair is typically soft and manageable. I bought this and then returned it because it looked & smelled completely different from my last bottle (purchased from Ulta). I ended up buying it from Ulta again instead and it looks & smells exactly the same as the Amazon bottle, so I assume they just changed the product & packaging at some point, but I can’t find any info about that online or I wouldn’t have returned it. So, just for anyone who isn’t sure, it seems to be authentic from what I can tell, and you save quite a bit of money by purchasing here so I would recommend it. I’ve used this product for over 10 years now so we’ll see if the changes impact my hair. I will update if I notice any negative effects! They definitely added more fragrance, but the texture seems to be the same so we’ll see!
