I tried out a new hairstylist in the DMV who specializes in natural hair. And when I tell you the innersense line has changed my understanding and relationship with my curls. My hair is not color treated but this particular line was recommended by my stylist (@BeysCurls on ig). She used this line because the shampoo isn’t too stripping and the conditioner has the right amount of slip and moisture to it for my hair. She used the shampoo and conditioner from the color line and I now get the big refill bottles and put them in my simplehuman shower pumps. The refill lasted me over 8 months and I was my hair every 7-10 days with both shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a long way with these products. Make sure to really emulsify the shampoo in your hand before applying to the hair to make the most of it. And work in a pump of conditioner and lather it by adding more water to that section of hair. You’ll notice the conditioner goes farther when you add water to it. Make sure you rinse both products ALL THE WAY OUT. she used a combination of three gels to define my curls. In order: uncle funkys daughter, I create hold, Trepadora (yellow bottle). I never did a wash and go in my life til this year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
