I have wanted a shoe like this for years. I've tried a few different kinds of high airflow shoes over the years, but they all look pretty weird or have other major quirks. These Wallys are super comfy and pretty good looking - perfect for work. (I'm a computer programmer.) My feet get super hot and sweaty, so these are really helpful for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these.
They're not perfect. Mine are a little loose, and they feel like they might come off if I run in them.
Also, they're not super adjustable. I mean, you can adjust the cord thing, but at least for me, I can't make it very tight because then it hurts my foot. It's like a pressure point and makes my foot feel like it's getting bruised in this one spot. And adjusting the cord thing is a little awkward. I just tied an extra knot in mine, to make it tighter. But in all fairness it's part of the style and loaferness of the shoe. For me, it might be better if these laced up like normal running shoes, maybe with a padded tongue; but then again, I don't really know.
Another minor issue was when I got them, one had a long tag under the insole, and it was making an embarrassing clicky sound as I walked. But I just cut it out, so it's really no problem.
I should probably describe some of the positive aspects of the shoe, in case you're wondering what they're like. So the top is like a ropey material, like a burlap sack, kinda, but it's very comfortable. It is a little annoying slipping them on, cause they are floppy, but small price to pay.
The outsole is like a super light foam, and very comfy. The insole fits perfectly and is also very comfy.
So the holes on the bottom of the outsole do let air in. Well, I think so. Normally I don't really feel it, but there's been a few times where I was just standing outside, and I felt the breeze come through the bottom. It was awesome. The insole probably blocks a good amount of that airflow, and I'm not sure how comfy it would be walking around without it. (I should try that.)
Well, anyway, hope that helps. I highly recommend if you have a desk job and your feet are getting hot and sweaty with regular shoes.

Remove Laces & Insoles
Laces may get tangled and memory foam insoles will ruin in the wash.

Use Liquid Detergent
Use a tiny amount of liquid detergent because powdered detergent can cause irritation.

Wash on Delicate/Light
Set the washer on delicate using only cold water to help prevent shrinking.

Air Dry
Do not machine dry. Air Dry them outside or indoors, but keep them out of direct sunlight.

Great quality! Comfortable!
Great shoes! My husband loves them. He usually wears a 10 1/2 but there are no half sizes. I ordered him the size 10 and they fit him perfectly! He loves the grey color and he said they feel like he's wearing slippers. The shoes were delivered on time as expected. I have a feeling he'll be wanting more Hey Dudes in other colors.
