but now that I cook for only 1 or 2 people, I wanted to grow some fresh herbs without having to buy full packs of seeds, potting soil and new pots. That's why I gave this package a try.

I've tried sowing the seeds at least two times, and three times for a couple things I especially wanted, but have yet to see a single green sprout. Unfortunately I missed the deadline to return this, so this was a waste of my money and effort.

Because NONE of the seeds germinated, not even the typically easy ones, I'm assuming something happened environmentally to affect all the seed packets. Once they arrived at my house, I followed the directions carefully, so don't believe I did anything wrong.

This is a great little project. I love planting and plants. My only criticism is the planters are burlap and not sturdy... even when filled with the soil. After following all the instructions to a T... the only seeds that I had grow, were the mustard seeds. In the end, fun project. I would recommend, as long as the understanding is not all seeds grow.

Product was somewhat mediocre to say the least I guess. I feel all of the seeds were past their due date. The seeds that "survived" took forever to grow. All the others were dead. Nothing from them for about 6-8 weeks. After that my mom threw em out. Absolutely waste of time and money. All that sprouted died a week later. And they were very well taken care of. In the end though, the experience was nice in a way.

 I found the manual to be very informative on how to plant. However, some types of herbs came with very few seeds (some didn't come with the amount they said to plant) and unfortunately some didn't end up germinating. However, this last point may be something we did wrong, but overall we enjoyed the experience.
