Someone gave us one of these at a baby shower. We have now bought several of them and give them to every expecting mom. They’re just the best.

Incredibly easy to use. (Written by a dad).
Just zip them up, and wrap the sides around. They’re Velcro so they stick well. It’s good Velcro too, doesn’t loosen or anything. Basically a straight jacket for your infant.

The multiple positions you can use it for are awesome too, hands out, hands up, hands down, whichever your kid prefers it’ll do.

Have I mentioned how easy it is to swaddle them? No more of that kicking the swaddle loose, or not being able to figure out how your wife did it, or how you got the blanket right that ONE time. This turns out right EVERY time.

-plenty of leg room. (We have a tall baby, and he’s fine in it)

When I had my daughter the hospital gave us a Halo swaddle sleep sack as part of their safe sleep initiative. At first I wasn’t sold, but our daughter wakes herself up by throwing her arms up in the air. I started using the sleep sack swaddle and it helped her sleep so much better. When she outgrew the newborn one I knew I had to get another one. I LOVE this one. It’s so adorable, the material is sturdy and easy to wash. I put it in a mesh washing bag. The Velcro sticks great and I feel comfortable knowing she is warm, safe, and cuddled. When she’s to old for a swaddle I will be purchasing a Halo sleep sack.

This is the third of these I’ve purchased for my son. LOVE the idea behind this product, so much easier than trying to wrap baby in a swaddle blanket.

The first one we got was the fleece one. I shared the same concerns other commenters did about it being dangerous — I woke up to find it covering my baby’s mouth. I think it was s combination of the fabric being stiff and newborn babies being so tiny that there’s just extra fabric. So I switched to the microfiber one which worked mych better. The tighter you wrap your baby, the better, the less likely it will loosen and cover the mouth.

At 10 weeks my baby outgrew the newborn size, so we got this one which is perfect because summer is coming and this is more lightweight. It’s so soft and the porcupine pattern is so cute. My baby definitely sleeps better in these than when he naps without it.

I’ve bought and used 3 Halo sleepsacks at newborn size and 3 now for small size. He’s 3 months and still doesn’t roll in his sleep or when awake.

This is the ONLY one that has an inverted zipper instead of a 2-way zipper. I didn’t read the listing carefully to see that... didn’t realize that could be so option. While it’s still a zipper, 2-way is far superior for sleepy brains vs. the inverted zipper. The 2-way, there’s no threading the zipper pieces together (think like a jacket).

Still love it in general: it’s so soft, cute design, and gives ample leg room.

Works much better for my son vs. Sleepea, which he haaaaated. Just remember: EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT! What works for mine may not work for yours. If you’ve never used a Halo sleep sack, try one with a 2-way zipper, not this one, and if it works, then buy more.

If you’re going to gift someone something for their soon to arrive little human, this is the gift you’ve been looking for.
My kiddo doesn’t like being traditionally swaddled. He wants that secure feeling BUT you best leave his legs alone. I’ve tried other brands, and when I say my baby didn’t like it, I mean he legit scream cried at the top of his lungs because he didn’t have the leg room he required and HATED it.
This sleep sack is a GOD send. Plenty of leg room for him to kick his little feets to his heart’s content. Keeps his arms swaddled so he isn’t scratching the crap out of me with those razor sharp baby claws while nursing.
It zips bottom to top so midnight diaper changes are easy without having to undo the whole swaddle gig you had to carefully and quickly maneuver with those ninja baby arms hours earlier.
Bonus, picture directions are sewn in on the inside of one of the swaddle flaps so the parent who normally doesn’t do the bedtime routine can’t say he doesn’t know how it works... the directions are RIGHT THERE.
This thing is legit. Wouldn’t buy any other brand.

These are wonderful swaddles for colder weather. SO easy to use, cute patterns, and fits snugly while also being versatile (both arms, one arm, no arms).
