Nice Set For Men But Would Only Use At Night

This is a nice enough set for men. The ingredients are all top notch for a skin care set (As a Massage Therapist I always research ingredients of anything that goes on my/my clients and family's skin.) Got this for a guy friend but did a quick test with it first.

The Serum was ok - went on and absorbed reasonably quickly.

The Eye Cream also applied and absorbed as expected.

The sticking point for me, so to speak, (and the reason for a 1 star reduction) is that the cream isn't a true cream. As soon as I applied a bit to my finger it started to melt. NEVER had a cream do that before. I believe it's because this product has a high percentage of various oils and isn't balanced out with a butter or maybe a better emulsifier. When applied it stayed sticky for quite some time, also indicating a higher-than-normal oil content. Now, with being a Men's products, perhaps oils are more necessary to help to moisturize skin, but still, you don't want sticky skin.

Because of this I'd say I'd use this for my Night routine if it was me. It eventually absorbed in but I just personally don't like creams that give me that result for day use.

Other than that, can't complain. I know my friend will love this set.

...another brand of skincare with the name "visible difference"; it's been around for years; a really old established brand and title.

Using this line, made me think of that brand, because of the name.

I'm not saying this will take 20 years off the look of your skin, but using the product, layered as directed, I can see a difference in the plumpness and the appearance of wrinkles on my face, especially around the eyes.

These are in "home" size containers.
At least half of my showers/grooming is at the gym.
I like this product so much, I am tempted to transfer it into little take with containers.

Keep this in mind; I get a lot of stuff free as a Vine reviewer and am and have been a product junkie since way before Vine.

When my vanity sees a difference in appearance as I do with this, well that puts this stuff at the head of the line; top of the heap, as it were.

It has a scent; I can't quite put my finger on what it is; no offense, but I think they were going for a "typical man scent". It's okay, not my favorite, but also not offensive or something that would discourage me from using this; and I do reject products if a scent is offensive.

It's about a 3-4 of intensity on a scale of 10, out of the containers and then dies down once on your (my) skin.

Each of the products is a shade of white in color; the serum reminds me of something; I won't say what; you'll know what I mean if you get some.

The face cream ("Age defense cream") is an interesting texture; it's sort of gel like.
There's a little spatula to use to scoop some out; when I transferred it onto my hand, it started almost melting; not a negative, just something interesting that I noticed (warm day I guess).

Each of the components in this set delivers a level of moisture that feels just right, and I tend towards dry skin. I feel a bit of firmness and yet hydration at the same time.

Go easy when first dispensing, especially with the eye cream; less is more.

Nice products; glad I ordered this set.

This product has the rare distinction of earning 5 stars from me; if money is a concern for you, then consider this a 4 star rating, based on price only.

great skincare set. bit pricey for my budget but worth it for the results. I'm a woman but don't overdo it with self care. I opt toward male oriented skincare and it works so much better for my needs. Definitely see a difference in firmness and the eye serum is my favorite. it's one of my biggest problem areas and has made such a difference I've been able to cut back on concealer under my eyes. decent amount of each product. mid size containers. metal case/box. great minimal effort face care set for men or women

They're all generously sized with gentle hydrating ingredients (i.e. ceramides) that help maintain the skin's moisture barrier. I gave this set to my husband, who has dry skin, but from time to time I'll also use it since it's also lightweight enough for my oily skin.
