Installation Instructions：(Teamwork will be more helpful!)
- Clean the window thoroughly. Make sure it is smooth and clean and free of any dust.
- Measure the size of the window and trim the film to the desired size. Leave an extra 1-2 cm margin on each side to allow for adjustment.
- Peel off the transparent protective film. If it is difficult to remove the protective film, you can rub the corner of the film for a while to make it easier to peel off the backing. Make sure you have removed the protective film before installation. (Very important!!!)
- Spray plenty of water on both the smooth side of the film and the windows.
- Install the smooth side of the window film onto the window.
- Use a squeegee or cleaning cloth to remove excess water and any air bubbles, making sure there are no air bubbles or water left behind.
- Cut off the excess window film.
- Wipe clean the surface of the installed window film. And you are well done!

Got the job done
When I bought my house I didn’t like the idea of putting blinds up so I bought some frost spray. It works but every year when I have my home pressure washed the spray chips away. Instead of adding more this year I chose to do the film. Why is no one talking about how hard it is to separate the backing from the actual film?!? OMG! I spent the majority of my time trying to do that. Once I placed the film on the window it was ok. I like that it didn’t stick right away because I had to reapply a few times to get everything lined up. I cut too much and had to go back with a razor on the edges. When trimming the sides I nicked a piece and put a hole in so I ended up cutting from the hole and applying a new piece which looks awful to me but as stated in my title, it gets the job done.

My second order of this film was the Silver black 35.4 x 393.7 inches, which, btw, is by far the best price of its kind on Amazon for this size.
It does what it says it will do. My tip, after having done many windows and a sliding door, is for you to cut the film anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 an inch shorter than your total measurement. That’s because the film will not stick to any spot that is not strictly glass, including that minuscule white rubbery thingy I’m trying to show with my finger on the photo. And the job looks less good when that’s the case. You can always use the utility knife afterwards and cut the film when it’s already on the glass, but it takes much longer to PUT the film on the glass if you cut a piece that is too large. Experience will show you. :-)

It was exactly what I was looking for! At night it's pretty dark so you can't see outside. For the windows I want to see out of at night but have some sun coverage I'd use the silver one.
The install was relatively easy for one person. You have to get the install kit separately and I'd opt for one with a blade included because it will be super sharp which is great for this film. You don't want any jagged edges.
However the squeegee I bought scratched the film a bit so be careful with that. I first had this on the right side but moved it to the left side because of the scratches, which was incredibly easy since it's a static clinging and not sticky.
The film product is actually super easy I'd give it a 4..5 out of 5 at least.
