I love this Grampa's Garden Hook. It is a great weed puller and I love it for loosening soil in flower pots and raised beds, when preparing them for replanting. It is also handy for pulling weeds in the flower beds and along our brick walkways. My nine year old granddaughter often likes to clean between the bricks in the walkway. She said if the bricks are too close together, this tool tip will not fit. I showed her how she could slide it sideways to remove the dirt and weeds between the bricks. This garden hook is longer than I thought it would be, but that is not a bad thing. It is well built and has a wooden handle. It has a hole in the handle for hanging it up. It has the Grandpa’s Garden Hook name on the side of the handle.

Trying to keep up with the weeds in my yard, and when I see an item that may help with removing them it catches my attention. Well I ordered the Grandpa’s Garden Hook and it arrived in a day. As it warms up in my southwestern climate, if I have done a somewhat good job, the weeds start to die off because of the heat and very dry conditions. My yard is a zero scape yard but I do get weeds in the rocks that I need to be persistent with and as my yard dries out the clay underneath the rocks becomes very hard. I found this tool does get to the weeds in the hard clay underneath the rocks. I may look at getting a longer handled weeder for the obvious reasons but you still need to bend down to pick up the weeds. How’s that for a long winded review. The tool made it to my home in one day and the tool is of very good quality.

 After trying many different hand tools, I ordered the garden hook and gave it a try. It quickly jumped to my #1 for truffle digging. Once your trained dog finds a truffle, it can be tricky to dig it up without damage. This tool is sharp, sturdy, and big enough to get in deep and push the truffle to the surface. And the top part of the hook is flat enough that it can be used to shove dirt back into the hole. Highly recommend to other truffle hunters out there!
