Directions

Apply sunscreen to dry skin 20-30 minutes before sun exposure, making sure that all exposed areas of skin are evenly covered such as your feet and the area behind the knees. Apply plenty of sunscreen. For the body of an adult, an amount of 2 tbsp is required. Reapply every 2 hours and immediately after swimming of toweling dry.

This was almost the perfect sunscreen... almost. This suncreen delivered on; being cruelty-free, cast-free, no white remnants on my hair line or eyebrows, leaves a matte finish without leaving my skin feeling dry, feels lightweight, and was a good size for the price. I realize this is a "body" sunscreen but works beautifully on my face. I checked the ingredients for the "face" version of this sunscreen and the ingredients are almost the same but the face sunscreen is half the size.

That said, while this suncreen didn't sting my eyes when I applied it, it made my eyes feel extremely dry and if water gets on my eyes when the sunscreen runs in my eyes they feel so uncomfortable. If it ends up in my eyes because of water my eyes don't sting, burn, or feel dry, it feels like there is something in them that you can't get out so the one thing this sunscreen did NOT deliver on is what I would refer to as "eye safe."

I used this in combination with a non-water resistant sunscreen layered on top and when I got wet it stopped working and I got darker as a result (thank god I applied 2 layers or I really would've been done for...) it says water resistant though and I was only outside for about 3 hours.

I don't want to place complete blame on this sunscreen or say that it doesn't work, but it seems too good to be true. I did not get any acne from it which is a plus. Maybe only good for grocery runs.

Don't place this anywhere near your eyes as the matte texture means it's a pain to wash out. Also would not wear this to the beach or anywhere where there is intense sun as it just seems like a casual sunscreen. You would probably need to reapply as well but doing so makes this suffocate the skin (more than it already does) as it's a similar texture to Vaseline.

If you can afford to experiment (no hyper-pigmentation issues or skin that is hypersensitive to sunlight), go nuts, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Ingredients are decent though.
