Worked great for my cake!
This was my first attempt at making a homemade cake for my son’s 8th birthday party with a shark theme. I used this food coloring set to make the colored layers. There are only two blues included: sky blue and navy blue. I made one layer of each which are the top and bottom shown in my cake. The middle layer is the two blue dyes mixed together, for reference (if that’s useful for anyone). I don’t think my daughter and I spilled any on my counters, it all made it in the kitchenaid mixer, so I can’t speak on cleaning. But, my 8 year old daughter was able to open them and squeeze them into the mixer with our batter so that points to ease of use! Overall these create a beautiful color, though I am certainly not an expert. I’d purchase again for future cakes 🙂

Great for Easter eggs. We used this product for our eggs. Two techniques used. Coolwhip with food coloring and vinegar with food coloring. The Cool whip technique does not work as well. They turn out a pretty pastel light color. If you use vinegar in the food coloring. The color is brighter and deeper depending on how long you leave it in the vinegar solution. Food coloring cleaned up well no stains on surfaces. My daughter even licked the cool whip with the food coloring. It did dye her skin a little. We were able to clean up. She had a dyed tongue for a little bit. But it does not stain teeth for long. Definitely need to brush your teeth after eating with this food coloring. It does stay in clothing. I'll have to check my laundry to see if the food coloring came out of her PJs. Again great item for dying frosting. Bright vibrant colors. Would highly recommend.

I got these food colors for painting my silkie chickens. These photos show the ones that were good, but there were many that the color barely took. (See the light pink chicken)
I guess if you are using this stuff for baking it will be fine, but for my purposes the bottle were too small like 1 oz each.
