2020 has been the year where certain societal issues can no longer be ignored. As workplaces become more diverse, it is imperative that diversity, inclusion, and equity trainings/materials are available to staff to promote a healthy work environment. Panel discussions, focus groups, diversity dinner dialogues, and group- centered events outside of a designated day or month (ex: women-centered events outside of Women’s History Month) are some suggestions that could improve the atmosphere of a workplace. This practical guide could also be used to implement DEI in educational institutions, the military, federal agencies, healthcare systems, and all other organizations because we tend to not see our own backgrounds as means for personal biases that may negatively impact our own or another’s workplace experience.
Evidence-based references as well as personal experiences from Dr. Asare provides an authentic and unique perspective on DEI being integrated into an organization’s culture.
It is not like other training materials or guides you can find and an easy read. I highly recommend!

Janice Gassom is one of those rare subject matter experts who can take on a complicated topic (such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and pare down the many different tangled intricacies for the companies and organizations who haven't been able implement an effective strategy. Janice was somehow able to provide the kind of data in this publication that even the most experienced DEI practitioner can learn from. Her effectiveness as a coach and an educator and as someone that can bring people together to discuss such a polarizing issue is on full display.

And here we are paying almost 30$.
This will be returned, not trying to get scammed...and look at the print format...made to make the book longer, if it was formated like most books, this would be no more than 30pages.
