This is an excellent product for all manner of cleaning from electronics to cleaning greasy threads on machines.

It’s fast, cleans really well, removes dirt and contaminants and leaves no residue.

It’s not nearly as rude to skin as brake or parts cleaner but it will dry skin out fast so use care.

My issue with this product is the massive price increase. This was $4.97 a can in April 2021.

Today, it’s $11 a can. That’s a massive price hike far outstripping inflation.

I use this stuff for cleaning the switch contacts on my motorcycle. Sadly all the handle bar switches on my motorcycle are not hermetically sealed. Considering how these switches are all exposed to the elements it's amazing the contacts are all out in the open. After many years the emergency cutoff switch was starting to act flaky. The cruise control switch and four way flashers were sticking too. I had to dissassemble to switch box to access the emergency stop switch but the others were all accessible with the enclosed straw. After an application of the CRC contact cleaner all switches are now working as new. This is an outstanding product. A must have for any motorcyclist with the multitude of handle bar switches as I have.

This product was recommended to me by a friend. Tells me it’s for electronics, cleans stuff out, but OKAY TO USE ON ELECTRONICS!

So I sprayed this finicky silicon soft button that is part of the control panel for an older rv’s LevelLegs Leveling jacks. They want hundreds of dollars, which I’ve spent before, to replace this board by some rip-off guys who do it, because they can. I don’t want to replace it again.

I sprayed the pad, from the outside, through the cracks around the edge of the silicone button. As an over abundance of caution, I waited til the next day. Pressed it and it worked! Surprised 😲. I have now thought of several places I can use this: tow car electrical hookup plugs (both ends), a switch that works sometimes and anything else that comes up.

Electronics Cleaner. Who knew?
