Directions

1. Heat oven to 400° F. Line 24 (1-3/4 inches in diameter) mini muffin cups with paper or foil baking cups.

2. Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar and orange rind in large bowl. Beat together in medium bowl yogurt, egg and melted butter. Add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Fold in chopped chocolate. Divide evenly into prepared muffin cups.

3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until well risen and golden brown.

  • 1 - 1/4 cups self rising flour

  • 1 - 1/2 tsps baking powder

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar or super-fine sugar

  • 1 orange rind, grated

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), melted

  • One half (3.5 oz bar) CADBURY DAIRY MILK Chocolate Bar, coarsely chopped

Like so many other reviewers, about half of the bag is broken pieces of eggs. About 25% split in half, another 25% with cracked, chipped or missing shells. If I had planned on gifting these or putting them out for guests I would probably be returning them. Since these are for personal consumption, not a big deal.

I really enjoy this brand of chocolate! My favorite is the candy coated small eggs at holiday time. The candy arrived safely and well packaged. Delivery was slower than usual with Prime and it was mailed and delivered by a Prime truck. It did not taste stale and the pieces were not broken. To me this chocolate is pricey, and I don't get it very often. The larger bag seems to be the best deal, rather than the smaller sizes sold in stores.

If you are not aware that the M&M can be improved upon then you have not yet tried the Cadbury Mini egg. These are so fantastic the outside candy shell is three times better than the M&M candy shell and the chocolate inside has a hint of malt that to me sends these so far over the top the leading,"melts in your mouth not in your hand" candy doesn't stand a chance.
I bought them at the right time and they were very inexpensive so they were a great value and they were so fresh I had to call a friend over and give him the rest cuz I was poised for eating the entire bag alone. Wow! Astonishing.

I love Cadbury mini eggs with their crisp outer shells and solid milk chocolate interiors. The shape and the matte colored shells look remarkably like real songbird eggs, but thank goodness the insides taste unmistakably like Cadbury chocolate. My bag arrived in great shape, with only a few chipped pieces. I've had worse from bags I've bought in stores.

This large size is great to keep the addictive chocolates on hand for the weeks leading up to or after Easter,
