I got this bug bite thing last year. Then I put it somewhere that I wouldn't lose it. Then I forgot where I put it for safe keeping. Fast forward to 1 year later. I happened to be rummaging through a drawer and found it. About a week later, I was walking the dog in the afternoon and got bit by a yellow fly. I don't know if you have them where you live but their bite is painful, they bite fast, and it itches for at least a week. I did manage to kill the critter. I went and got the Bug Bite Thing and applied it as directed. I didn't expect it would work, but it did. I had to use it several times to get relief but it did take the pain and the itch away. I took the barrel apart to clean it and there was a miniscule amount of fluid present in the collection area. It is now evening and I am comfortable and there is NO pain or itching at the bite site. It's cheap, it's painless and it really does work. I recommend it.

I just received this little tool this morning and used it immediately on two 3-day old mosquito bites that were still itching…and IT REALLY WORKED! One bite only took one try…while the other one took two tries (perhaps there was more of s scab to penetrate as it was scratched more?). There is a slight ring that remains from the section, but that will go away…a very small price to pay for the relief! It is now 20 minutes later and there is still no itch! If this little tool works on older bites, I’m very confident that it’ll work on an immediate bite even better! I am buying more to distribute to family and friends! Thank you!

Lucky me! My 18-yr-old indoor cat ran out at night and was gone for over an hour. There is a pack of coyotes that has a den 2 blocks away, in the direction he ran. He would occasionally run out and bounce around the front yard for 5-10 minutes to get me to play “chase the kitty”, but if I didn’t want to play, he’d come right back. That night, I think he was playing “chase me” with the neighborhood rabbits. (I’m sure he had more fun than they did!)

I am lucky! He came home!!- but brought fleas with him. I ordered fogger, and sticky strips, and this tool. The next morning, I laundered all of the bedding in hot water. That afternoon my veterinarian sold me flea treatment that would be safe for my 2 old cats, and I treated everything with diatomaceous earth, since the foggers didn’t arrive till the next day.

Unfortunately, I had been bitten several times before this bug bite tool arrived the next day, and I had big allergic welts. I tried the bug bite tool on all of the bites, and it only worked on the one from this morning that still had the small white center. I used the tool 3x, and still had to squeeze out the last of the white center.

If I haven’t gotten rid of every flea, I’ll use this tool at the first itch! And I’ll be super careful going in and out of the door, since an old cat is faster than an old lady!

Absolutely love my Bug Bite Thing and find it super effective. For how much it costs though, I feel like it should hold up better. This is my third time purchasing this and I find that it somehow cracks on the side and the suction doesn't work as well. Please make this more durable!!!

We were pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the suction tool! It helped immensely to lesson and to shorten the discomfort from tick bites. It also helped with chigger bite discomfort.
The tweezer is a great option - using it specifically for ticks, instead of having to use the tweezer we use for every other need in the house is a bonus!
We live among wooded areas and have dogs who need walks on paths through the wooded areas so it is pretty impossible for us to avoid tick & chigger issues so my husband & I are very happy to have found these tools.

The swelling, burning, and especially itching has gotten worse every day since. Last night I was ready to cut my foot off when I decided to give this a try. I sucked my entire ankle area because I couldn’t tell exactly where the stings were. Instant relief! Instant! Like a miracle and it’s like I never got stung. There was some liquid in the cap which I assume was venom. It’s just a cheap little plastic thing, but it works! Some reviews say it’s too big to use on fingers, but the cap is reversible to have a smaller suction hole for fingers and toes. That suction seems weak but I haven’t tried it on a bite yet.

Seems to work if you get to the bite within a few hours or at least the same day. I started using this because the Benedryl creme just does not seem effective anymore (although I bought new creme). Sometimes it takes more than one application.

The Bug Thing works! I have used it as has my family. It takes the itch out, hands down. Fortunately we only had misquote bites to try them out on. I purchased 3 and will have to reorder because everyone wants to try them. I want my own as sharing is overrated. They can be washed with soap and water and are sturdy enough to last. Great stocking stuffer if going on vacation as well.
