Halloween can be an overwhelming and dangerous holiday for children with allergies, but they still want to trick or treat and have fun with their friends. On most mini sized candy bars, the ingredients are not listed or can contain different ingredients than the regular sized, making it hard to decipher if certain candy is safe to eat. The Teal Pumpkin Project aims to spread awareness to families and neighborhoods across the globe to participate in handing out non-candy alternative treats to help make Halloween an inclusive holiday. Join the movement to make Halloween fun and safe for everyone.

I purchased these in March of 2022 for a glow in the dark party for my class. A majority of the glow sticks did not work when the snapped them to activate them. And the ones that did glow, were extremely dim. It was such a disappointment because my students were excited to have their glow in the dark party. Spend the extra money to get better quality glow sticks! What a waste of money.

A few of the sticks worked really well (mostly the blue and some of the red). Most glowed weakly. And, about a fourth didn't glow at all. A few years ago, the brand I bought was very bright, and the kids were thrilled with them. This year, they just looked at them like, "Why?"

Two of the glow sticks squirted me in the face (with gentle bending). The connectors were so hard to put on that they hurt my hands, and my husband had to do it.

I wanted to support a good cause, next time I'll go cheap.

In the first picture. All of them have been cracked and 9 of them work and the rest don't.
